Reminds me - if you want to see channel 5's line up for the next 30 years see here 'list of agencies and units of agencies'

Add the name of a city to the end of any of them and you have a spin off;

Yeah I've somehow been too busy to dive into much Marvel barring X Men and Spiderman. GotG was pretty sweet.

On the plus side I can't complain about being bored for a while now...

Translation:

So, I don't have a lot of time for movies so I only like to watch the shittiest, most absolutely garbage ones.  So I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

The first Spider-Man films were really not great.  I will not forget what they did to Venom.  The two newest Spider-Man films were OK. Same with the two newest X-Men.  I really enjoyed First Class. 1-3, not so much.  First Wolverine was , second one a fair bit better.

Re stupid *suitcase* women do:

Saturday evening we had a bloke knock on the front door claiming to be a windows cleaner trying to drum up business. As I was putting the boy to bed the other half dealt with him. Afterwards she told me he stank of booze and yet she still invited him in and gave him £20 to cover the next 2 months starting yesterday. Surprise surprise he never showed up yesterday and now she's moaning that she might have been done

'Might' have been done.

Oh my. I've just been assigned a clerk for a shooting competition. Her boss has decided it would be the best way for her to brush up on soldiering skills.

It's a competition. She's useless. And the subject of my only notable integrity incident i've had.*

*I shot at her target so she could pass her basic rifle test and I could go the funk home.

Found a spare JP Rifle upper receiver in stock that I've been searching for for years. Got an email from them a few days after saying they didn't have stock. By mere miracle I found another in stock, ordered that and now that too is out of stock..

The thing was discontinued years ago so I'm starting to think it's a lost cause, but I love the receiver set! Unfortunately it's the old CA 2 pin style so it's not just a case of finding any old receiver. I desperately want to build a spare upper for my P* AR but without another upper I can't! Too in love with this receiver to swap it out for another "normal" AR receiver and there isn't enough billet receiver choice out there even if I did!

If she sends me 50 quid in the post I will get her money back...

After weeks of talks, me and my boss agreed that my time shouldn't be wasted opening other people's post for them, and I should be left to do the job I was hired for. Order management specialist.

Today, I got handed a priority task.

Making a head start on spring cleaning the office.

Excellent. Just before you start that though, be a doll and put the kettle on.

Sounds like where I work.

Time to look for another job, friend.

Though I don't know how hard it is there to get a job, job satisfaction is the key to a happy career.

I know a colleague who went from Engineer to Technical Maintenance. Same interests, less pay but less paperwork, organising and actually doing what he wanted: to get his hand dirty repairing stuff.

So a former colleague engineer now is his boss. He has no problems with that what-so-ever, telling me it's not worth the stress of running a government funded institution.

Though I can see it it not entirely the same situation as you are in, try and do what you're feeling good with.

Another day, another shockingly bad character reveal for a comic film.  Todays guilty party, Marvel and Nightcrawler in the new X-Men.  Seriously.  He looks like a *badgeress*.  Are they trying to appeal to emo losers or something?

From what I gather, it's a concept so they say.  And not even the actual actor in the pic if what I've seen is correct.  Hopefully they get their *suitcase* together and fix it before shooting starts.

nah man emo was replaced by "scene". I'm not sure what happened after that. Are there even sub-cultures now? I see a few goths/metal guys around London but none younger then me.

edit: occasionally I may see a bloke in a fedora - blatant reddit user. but that's it.

The same happened to me with the brakes on my bike, tossers couldn't be bothered updating their websites.

Spent too much time yesterday trying to connect to my wireless network at home with no joy.

Don't know if the guy who has it in his room has changed the pass or something because of the cutouts at 7/8PM from too many people using it but its *fruitcage* annoying.

Plus he's a *Ubar* so even if I saw him I doubt he'd be any help.
