Crying Scum
Apparently for a couple months ago, Cybergun have a new CEO that I was not aware of. The new CEO, Hugo Brugiere want to change the direction of the company. Instead of focusing on money grabbing mentality and pleasing the stockholders with more money, they are now focusing on listening to the player and their need. Produce new product and accessories into the market and focus more on electronic internals. Here's a recent video interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcJGNc8v1gsThis change of strategy is undoubtedly good, if they manage to stick to it. This company have been taking a lot s*** for the longest time, and rightfully deserved it, if I may add. Everyone knows that they take mediocre guns, put a brand/license on it, and BAMM! Selling it for twice the price. Lets not forget when they copyrighted all airsoft mechanic related words such as "BLOW-BACK" or "HOP-UP", and essentially blocked import of other guns. Or the latest one on IWA 2016, where they checked various booth and demanded certain designs be removed from display because the have license/copyright. They have a lot to recover from the damage done by themselves. What do think? Will Cybergun ever recover from it? Or will revert back to bad habit of re-brand craptastic product to premium price? renegadecow
Would have been better to just file for bankruptcy then start fresh. The stink will follow the old name no matter what.
Skarclaw
I still hope WE et al put em out of business
Got Wood?
I agree with RC. The damage has been done and there's no turning around from what they've done really. I'm still sceptical about this new strategy to be honest
LordElpus
When it comes to Airsoft Guns, their name has the same weight as British Leyland/Rover/Austin had in the car industry. RC's strategy would have worked better for them
Crying Scum
Yeah, Cybergun have too much stink on their name. Can't help hearing cybergun as cyberscum with all the bad rep. they have.
NonEx
If the new CEO is serious and legit then I feel really bad for what he has inherited Other than that, I agree with all of the above.
Isamu
Time will say, but I think everyone deserves a second chance, even if it costs them two or three years of hard work and marketing to clean up the mess. WE has been mentioned, and those were quite bad back in the day, now they make actually nice stuff, I have a Katana Myself and it is quite decent in stock form, lets see once it is back from the tech from upgrading Me myself will wait and see what happens

hitmanNo2
The difference is WE didn't go out of their way to make *suitcase* products, they just couldn't make decent things. They have since got their *suitcase* together and refined what they do so fair play to them. Cyberscum however, knew exactly what they were doing the entire time so as far as I'm concerned they can still *fruitcage* off. Can a single new CEO turn the company around? I very much doubt it. They still have board members e.t.c. A CEO might be able to persuade them to stop making the really terrible decisions but change their entire business model? Nope.
GI0VANNI
EX VICE PRESIDENT http://bfmbusiness.bfmtv.com/mediaplayer/video/cybergun-une-augmentation-de-capital-pour-un-nouveau-dacpart-hugo-brugiere-0512-366375.html Interviewed back in 2012 as responsible for the second capital catching maneuver were he says more or less "boa boa boa, our company stinks but all is good and lossing 3 mil€ makes me laugh as I keep my wage and I promise that with unicorn dust we will go back to the profits asap as the problems is just we debt too much money" (4 years ago). Maybe due to his strong background that I can´t relate with economics or marketing?. Just keep in mind that for a cost of 0.33€ they were selling 5 new titules for each 2 old titles owned, so to speak plotting the titles in half!!! (my economy lessons say this is not good at all for any company that was valued at 15.3 mill€ maximum and recognizes losing 3 mill€). So keeping all this on mind I can not pity this guy as he seems to have been "inside" the stink all this time https://fr-fr.facebook.com/hugo.brugiere if you find any kind of interest about airsoft in his personal profile (may be fake but, you know, seems pretty legit to me) I will pay you a beer if you come to Edimburg from 29 june to 2 july. https://www.abcbourse.com/marches/succes-de-la-phase-1-du-plan-de-redressement-et-nomination-d-hugo-brugiere-au-po_346917_ALCYBp.aspx Diplômé de l'IEP Paris (Sciences Po) et de l'Ecole Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, pratiquant l'Airsoft et maîtrisant le business des armes, Hugo BRUGIERE avait déjà en charge les chantiers stratégiques du Groupe, notamment la négociation les accords commerciaux dans le cadre du développement des nouveaux calibres 4,5 mm et calibre .22, l'ouverture de la filiale SPARTAN IMPORT MILITARY DEPARTMENT ou encore la belle négociation de la licence GLOCK.hete they say at least that he plays airsoft, but must be a social net secret them, any french player recognizes him?? http://www.boursorama.com/actualites/nous-avons-assaini-completement-le-bilan-indique-hugo-brugiere-vice-president-de-cybergun-ad3607adc3427fd56aa907707fdf98cc maybe in this interview he was coming back form a game or the shades in his face are playing me a bad trick? http://www.4-traders.com/CYBERGUN-16268064/charts/ finally the accounting balance if you like trading seems it is being well received as it just raised 0.01€ per title but the support level is still in 0.12€ for the "sell asap and save what you can!!" spetsnazdave87
It's Cybergun. This is nothing more than a late, lame attempt at PR as they do seem to be waking up to the fact that being completely and utterly loathed by pretty much the entire industry they operate in could be counter productive. It's closing the barn door after the horse has bolted, got out of the farm, found road, hitch hiked to the big city, found a job, met a nice lady horse, dated for a while, got married, had some little horse kids, taught them to ride bikes, taken them to school, and watched them graduate. The company name is poison.
hitmanNo2
Indeed. Hopefully this is one of last, futile dying breathes in this POS of a company.
swatti
Shareholders are getting angry, boss gets kicked out. Typical. New boss usually someone from inside OR big name outsider. Eighter way, poor PR-attempt and very little change in share price. Next come the layoffs and then they start selling any property remaining. This from a long-term IRL investor's point of view who has been following this.
Wingmann
I'm sure they have an strategy. I'm not going to like it anyway.

GI0VANNI
Just buy a "call" for 10.000.000 titles at 0.08€ for a month. It depends if your accountant works with derivatives or not but at least having something moving offering a lower price for a share that was bought at 0.33€ each like 4 years ago would make investors feel confident about future and I think that for 800.000€ you could finish the evil and according to the numbers: Number of securities 87 129 303 Capitalization (EUR) 11 326 809 Capitalization (USD) 12 795 659 it is noticeable that the company (I mean the licenses bought) are then worth little over 11 mill€, imagine if you close a deal with a decent company such as G&P, marui, E&L, ICS... for the real trademarks, not to speak about the development of the new 4,5 mms caliber guns and the military training blocks that n lone has ever heard about again, just like the .22 guns that the CEO was in command to develop or something like that. (enough "hate mail" for me for a day)

Beeingmyself
For a while they were a good compagny for the share holders pov If they for at while start making good guns we or most of us will shut up and buy their guns because quality sells it self and a good price. They will probalby buy GHK and start making these for a good price with a s-hitload of extras and for a decent price - and we will buy their guns Who would ever have thought that TM would release a good GBBR for 2 or 3 years ago hmm? Not many. But times change and quality at a decent price just sells it self. And 5-8-10 years ago who will ever be able to remember the *suitcasey* Cyberscum from back then? How many of us saw the crisis coming in 2006? At 2008 it was all over us? 5 years ago who predicted ISIS???
Alias1983
Because Cybergun. Much fullmetal
Gunnman
Because Cybergun. I like the 571 fps with .12's. Because we all use .12 bb's.
jv83
IIRC before they changed their name to Cybergun and started their aggressive branding schemes, they where called 3P or something along the lines of 3 Pylonnes and imported a lot of KWC guns into eu. If they could go back to that I wouldn't mind, but as people state the name Cybergun is forever sullied by their stupid licensing gimmicks.
