muffe66
http://www.cop9gun.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=991 Seems like a redone MP5 K gbb from maruzen
DarkLite
It is. Open bolt, same mags. Still, that's pretty cool. I've been thinking about converting my ACM GBB MP5k with some JG parts, but that might end up being cheaper. Plus hopefully some sodding long mags. Bell manufactured. They're quite good with GBBs, so this might be a winnar!
Coldgunner
If being an MP5j fixes the Maruzen shortcomings (###### accuracy, low power and no range) then I'm in. I love my Maruzen because of the great noise it makes! oh yeah, and perhaps an adjustable hop would be nice.
DarkLite
HKD > GBP Conversion works out to £67 for the gun. But shipping is £60. Ouch. Might wait for Gunner or RSOV to get this - shipping will be less.
wraithxt1
Because I really need another GBB. Damnit! Anyone able to get more information on this? performance, mag price?
Rob15
Hopefully they have sorted the mags on that, although its a shame its still the 2 part mag construction like the Maruzen, iirc when I took my Maruzen Micro UZI mags apart though they just had o-rings stretched around the seal area so it might be possible to get a thicker O/D o-ring to fix any issues there. On the other hand, it has an older style sliding stock and not the new horrid chunky ones :D
Pariah_WP
I really hope that they sort out the problems of the mags...and start making a bumload of the long mags. ME WANTS...if it works that is.
jotohomomoto
finally, a GBB mp5 full size. How much is $788 HKD to USD?
hchiyan
finally, a GBB mp5 full size. How much is $788 HKD to USD? about 90 USD
MDK_Marshal
Mmm... Do want Though, Would be nicer if they'd done something about the maruzen system... Well, if it can be fettled to run solely on green, then count me in
j3T
Come with one gas chamber That's pretty worrying though.
Rob15
That's pretty worrying though. In a way yes, in another way no... Bell do have a habit of including spares such as loading nozzles with a number of GBBs, for how much they'd cost to make throwing another extra in is barely going to make any difference to the price so an extra just incase is nice, and if it is a dimensionally good clone of the Maruzen system you can get the Guarder loading nozzles instead if both of the stock ones die. skoda
That looks very interesting, i hope it fits standard handguards and full stocks.
Horsem4n
i seem to remember this being put up for a short while on gunners a few months ago. the case that it comes it reminded me. i wonder if this time its actually coming out or it it will disappear again. last i checked, the Well was a very faithful clone of the maruzen. its very close to the original if only because the maruzen wasn't all that great to begin with. the gun can shoot fine on green with a small mod and there are still a few AEG barrel conversion kits and bolt upgrades floating around from someone on GGI personally, im waiting for WE to bring out their MP5 series. BTW, i believe the body is still plastic.
ED-SKaR
One of the worst airsoft mechanisms OF ALL TIME, and it just wont die! I mean seriously, its open bolt, has bad mag design and activley destroys itself! Kill it with fire, then copy the internals of the GIM M4s and it will be better. (OR my personal preferance, make it external gas )
raito
Oh wow cant wait for the fixed stock one to come out... or maybe an aeg one will fit?
Jin15
While I have been harping on about wanting a GBB MP5 for quite some time I've had the Maruzen system before and I'm just not a fan of it. Shoddy magazine design, massive cool down, no working bolt hold closed mechanism when the mag runs out of ammo. I'm just not digging it. I'll wait to see what SRC has to offer later this year I think.
uscmCorps
MP5SD please. It's gotta be better than my JAC MP5SD at least.
Korppi
Urgh nasty. Clone the good ol y&e (escort) mp5a5 dear sirs! And while at it fix its shortcomings namely flimsy inner barrel&hop-up setup (aeg hop) and lack of boltlock device (ptw mags). MP5SD please. It's gotta be better than my JAC MP5SD at least. Do you have SCS in you JAC?
Spencerman
Finally someone has bothered to do it. I must get one, as was mentioned above the MP5K is so much fun, even if it is a bit pants, and fun is one thing that airsoft should be about. I prefer the full size version, and I hate that super mega fugly stock on the J, so I am happy that it has the standard one. Looks like a threaded barrel though, which I feel is a shame, but what the heck, wont break the bank either.
uscmCorps
Do you have SCS in you JAC? It has the old school green gas bulb setup. The whole thing's back in HK. I haven't used it in over 13+ years.
Korppi
It has the old school green gas bulb setup. The whole thing's back in HK. I haven't used it in over 13+ years. SCS means spin-control system. It is an aftermarket hop-up for BV (bullet valve) gasguns. A picture of one made for JAC Uzi V. You can find the few more pics in the folder including delightful instructions made by some true artist. Klick me Hooked up to a proper external source, enlarged airways etc and most importantly SCS, I can't see your JAC losing the game to any gim gbb. With proper recoil weight competitive "recoil". For example my JAC sterling had a nice rof 3000rpm and effective range on 80meters but that is with an lrb of course.
uscmCorps
*snip* Ah, I see. Nope, my gun was relatively stock with the addition of the old school green gas setup. It was a fun gun though. Then again, I miss my Maruzen Micro Uzi that ran on inline Flon Gas with an expansion can and cheapo but super reliable 60 round plastic mags. Now THAT was a fun CQB gun. Good old days (17 years ago).

Good old days (17 years ago). Haha, The guns you were using almost 2 decades ago, I have multiples fixed up in my garage and skirmish with weekly. A lot of them I have upgraded with SCS and LRB's, but nothing is like skirmishing with my stock JAC Uzi DX (1986) once in a while. It only shoots about 80-100ft, but the power and fire rate are just so blistering that it makes aggressive skirmishing awesome. About this Mp5, though. We'll have to see if they've added an adjustable hopup. Without that, it's more or less peanuts.
Horsem4n
hah, this thing is better than i thought. http://rsov.com/index.php?target=products&...product_id=4886 a little more expensive, but now we know its metal. im having a tough time deciding if i want it or not, knowing that its metal. ill have to tough it out. i have already made plans for the WE. btw, FYI for you brits. FPS is @ 375 with an unknown gas (probably green) according to RSOV's chrono. the guns have never had that bad of cool down. they usually waist away the magazine before the ROF starts going down.
