RC, you have more modern kit than me for sure now. I need to fix that (but I cant't...) Brain, whether that is a hat or balaclava that you modded, that is perhaps the most practical fake winter beard+mustache look I have seen in a while.

Renagade, I just realized that save for the gp-25 and the akms' grip, I could have matched your collection on the dot. Even got the same rifle case. Got a steel receiver and full stock today, along with an Egyptian rear sight leaf., transferred my aks-74's guts, front end, and other bits over. Photos and me never mix well, so warning in advance.

I did plan a kind of full day or weekend 'Guard v Cultists' but never got enough interest
.Still there are many out there, often the easier ones to do like Tanith (black tight top, camo cloak and matching camo trousers, typical webbing and done).

I just think Imperial Guard mindset works well during those slaughterfest days at a field. 50+ players get hit during an assault to secure a flag? "Acceptable losses"

Interestingly enough, I have seen some good Krieg cosplays, but apparently using modified Swiss uniforms rather than German. I wonder how people would make the various weapons of the factions in airsoft form. I like to think that airsoft Shootas would all just be made loud with a gas system built into the underside of the barrels, similar to how people make inert machineguns sound off via propane.

faramon, you just need to open up an airsoft field with a store (and bar) that is just staffed with such dapperness as you have shown. That blows the water out of anything I have ever seen done locally. On an off-topic note, why have I forgotten to keep with your blog? So much win there.

Time to open a gearbox, I am sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

Hop units are tricky, but nowt really difficult. Also, the v3 gearbox is one of the easiest to work on.

GBBs are MUCH nicer to work on. I gave up on AEGs after 6 years of messing with them

Part of me wants to go get an GHK AKM, but the other part of me says my wallet cannot let me right now, I barely use my aegs as it is, and I am laughable at filling even gbb pistol magazines. They sure look tempting though...

And you forgot the most important rule of all: 5. If you can't afford to go and film in another country just go out to Dave's shack in the woods with a few old M16s and Chinese AKs and film there.

Just want to have people from other countries chime in on a thought today. Is it common/accepted that most fields are in fact rented paintball fields in one's area? How do people feel about the situation in their own areas?

The majority in MI are paintball fields where an airsoft event host from a local team partners with the field owner. Basically the event host runs the game, while the owner sits back, takes the cash and provides the field.

Here in Ireland virtually all of the sites are dedicated airsoft - no paintball

The issue with them is that they basically tried to take Chinese model externals like Real Sword's style, and make them appear Russian. What I mean is that you have type 56 parts like the rear sight base being used for the ak74 models and whatnot, along with quite a few details that are off, yet they are being marketed as being fully realistic/exact replicas. At least, that is the gist I get from previous discussions elsewhere. If you want something that has the dimensions of a Real Sword but needs a bit of external work done to not look wonky, it's worth taking a look, maybe. The sv

Actually, yes, something like that with my right arm/hand that makes it difficult to write (especially in the upcoming finals). I really just have always felt quite so old over the years, as though I should have been born in an earlier decade.

To think that earlier this week all the professors were asking how excited people were to be going back home. Considering I do everyday, not so much.
I barely ate anything and proceeded to hide in my relative's basement whilst my father proceeded to rant to everyone and embarrass us.
