Saw a few years of service with West German police. When we get the glass cleaned up from the pistol display (some idiot decided to drop an AR-50 on the glass counter ), I'll try to get some pictures.

Billy Bob the Sniper
Well I used it in a game last saterday and it got some wear but not enough so when i got home it was attacked by some sandpaper....
Whitedingo
Not bad at all. I'd kinda like to see a little more black around the edges of the worn spots, but that's me.
Billy Bob the Sniper
yeah thats what i get for using the sand paper, the rest i am just gona let it wear naturaly... so over time the paint should wear off showing the black.
2an
My cyma aksu.
Souske
yeah thats what i get for using the sand paper, the rest i am just gona let it wear naturaly... so over time the paint should wear off showing the black. Use a scour pad for the camo paint. It's abrasive enough to take off the sprayed paint, but not the original finish.
kie
Decided to give my M4 a Desi paint job with some artificial wear. k
Zmarre
I think even John McClane wouldn't create that much wear after a time in a warzone.
kie
he he thanks re-spraying it now anyway to be better suited in woodland. k Edited June 4, 2008 by kie
Zmarre
Hehe, my reply wasn't ment to be positive It's so hard over the top weared that I think it's almost unbelievable and clearly artificially made. But if you like it, all other opinions are futile
kie
no i dont like it now, ive already sprayed over it all, thanks for the input. k
Whitedingo
no i dont like it now, ive already sprayed over it all, thanks for the input. k I thought the wear was pretty well done....just the canary yellow stood out a bit!
Dahmer45
The wear itself was well done IMHO. Just put too much on.
The Crunchy Bunny
I don't think it's bad at all. The wear is excellent, doesn't look fake and the color isn't that bad. It reminds me of that infamous pic of the SAS dude and his simple yellow tan/black stripe paintjob.
Carter
^ Half agreed. I think the brown combined with the angle of the picture makes some areas that aren't worn look like they are. While I think it is a tad excessive, it is a decent start.
Victory
I quite like the effect done on the flash hider. Definetally replicate that with the new paintjob. -Vic
kie
Agreed the yellow was far too yellow its all part of the fun. Ive decided to do the same effect with a more tan based colour and make the brown more dusted, i copied the wear points of a real steal i saw its just that hideous yellow made them stand out far too much. next time ill do the basic wear points (flash hider, grip's and other sticky out bits) and see what you guys think. k

Souske
Very nice, you don't see Norwegian SOF styled G3s very often. Looks authentic and great as well.
Revenge Seeker
My first "wear" job. I started out wanting the all silver "40-year old Afghan" look but got tired.
