SamJacksonFan
The pistol looks nice but why the hack does WE always this stupid "it just might look like the thing a bit somehow" policy? This doesn't look even close to a real neXt pistol. WA did the job well. But for a classic freestyle 1911 pretty nifty look. So never mind your choice. And grips are sweet, as the Novak marking on the slide. A hint of authenticity. Edited February 24, 2010 by SamJacksonFan
chas
The new Silverback-Airsoft 1911 laser grips are out. Available in ACU, ARPAT and Multicam now. The water transfer on the digital camos looks terrible, IMO, but the MC one is pretty cool. http://www.airsoftglobal.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=
somegirls
These are the first pics of the 2-tone novak I've seen. Despite the design "flaws" mentioned above I like the looks of the gun. I wanted to buy it myself but the fact that it is a WE is keeping me from buying it.

MrManiac
don't quote pics dude.... Many apologies guys for quoting pics DOH! Anyway here to make it up to you all is my latest creation... This is a TM 1911a1 frame mated to a TM 5.1 customized slide, with Nova furniture and my own handmade grips in Black Walnut. The Ed Brown Sheriff 'Jim Wilson' 1911 special is on the back burner due to lack of parts....damn
BrooklynBorn
What do you mean by customized? i thought you oculd just use the slide with a new bushing, and the Tanio Koba slide spacer.

True you can but you still have to notch out for the bushing also i filled and sanded the original markings then cut additional cocking serrations and had the slide engraved with the 'Caspian' logo....depends what you consider customized i suppose Edited February 26, 2010 by MrManiac
RacingManiac
Thats the stock plastic slide? That's pretty cool....

FireKnife
Just to get a Detonics safety and maybe a new hop rubber, already got a new tightbore in it. Not bad for a primary weapon. May even get a rail for it. 'FireKnife'

FireKnife
Thats a beauty FK! Merely a well shot pic of my standard TM 1911A1 with the custom grips renegadecow made for us. And yup it's my primary. Not to add a stock MEU outer barrel, a Detonics safety and maybe a flat mainspring housing. Finally a new hop rubber for the win. MrManiac
Thanks 'SamJacksonFan' I would have got the slide engraved with the correct 'Jim Wilson' signature but my local engravers CNC software couldn't handle it...damn
