White_Rabbit
yeah thats the problem, no one at my sites have one and as the cars off the road (obviously buying a new gat is more important) I cant get up to see felix at F&O to play with his. My list of wants is growing every time i look at the sales section lol
LordElpus
Theres just to much for me to choose from lol cant make my mind up at all Get your *albartroth* down to F&O Asylum/Tunnels. Plenty of WEG39s there. I'm sure Felix will be happy to see you. And sell you one.
White_Rabbit
hehe yeah i know, txted him last night about one, but no car at the mo means no F&O action for me some may say id be better off putting the car through an MOT rather than buying a gun but those people are just stupid
LordElpus
Seriously, if you want in to the GBBR scene, this is the perfect starter gun. No ifs, buts or maybes.
hwagan
This is the first thing i'm considering that isn't an M4 - What are people using to get the FPS readings to sub 350 in the UK?
LordElpus
Cold weather or a NPAS.
danielsilva
Cold weather or a NPAS. And from what i know is mostly the entire year But i don't like the NPAS for the open bolt system, it never kept its settings and gave it less recoil. I prefer just adding a small spacer behind the floating valve. Edited February 21, 2011 by danielsilva

Reppyboyo
I just use a modded NPAS. Use spacers on the adjustment screw instead of just threadlocking it. Works fine, allways about 300fps in current temperatures. Around 325 in hotter (18c~) temps.
Seraphim989
Mine just arrived today, this build quality is amazing...
TechnoMagi
Where is the NPAS available? I don't recall seeing one.. anywhere.
NonEx
Where is the NPAS available? I don't recall seeing one.. anywhere. Directly from RA-Tech : http://en.ratech.com.tw/ I would however be interested to learn more about putting a buffer on the floating valve as I have not gotten a good impression of the NPAS... I think I read somwhere that a 1-2mm plastic buffer superglued to the floating valve is sufficient ? I seem to recall pictures, perhaps it was further back in this thread. Will have a look again... First and foremost though I need to chrono my gun to see how hot it shoots I guess.
plastik
are the rails on the g39 smaller then 20mm? They don't appear to be sized right. I tried putting on a Magpul AFG, RVG and XTM panels and they don't fit snug and rattles.
raito
No problems on mine, my AFG sits properly on the bottom rail
NonEx
No problem here either.I attached a SIG tactical light on my bottom rail, snug fit. Red dot scope on top, snug fit.
bankz5152
Mine are fine. AFG fits great on my one. Sure your tightening it enough?
ShinSeiki
How are those G39s holding up? i can't wait to make the leap to GBBR's, is this the gun for me?
danielsilva
How are those G39s holding up? i can't wait to make the leap to GBBR's, is this the gun for me? Best GBBR OOTB/Bang for the Buck at the moment. Period.
Spencerman
I had a few issues with mine running .28 bbs, without any modification to the hop etc. I was finding that every so often the bbs would just plummet downwards as the hop was fully off. I have just tried .4s this weekend and turned the hop up to accomodate. The result is well happy. I still need to put a good 1000 rounds or so through it to bed the hop in, but so far so good. It certainly does just work right out of the box, with the hop being really the only issue that it seems to have, and that is only if you are using the lighter ammo. I assume that this might be something to do with the way that they are using a similar hop up to the VSR, and that is a sniper rifle, so would probably use heavier ammo or a higher fps anyway. Even so, it is a nice little gun, and doesnt so far have any real problems, it even works in the cold!
Reppyboyo
Best GBBR OOTB/Bang for the Buck at the moment. Period. +1 So far the only /almost/ OOTB skirmishable GBBR. I say almost as you may need a NPAS depending on your country's laws and you will have to play with the hop a little to achieve the results you want.
bankz5152
Rather well, though I just broke my cocking bolt and lost me left selector switch. Though got new parts on the way Barrel starting to wobble needs tightening every now and then. Though still a better purchase than an AEG. One thing that has *fruitcage*ed me off alot is the mags. So brittle!! Ive now got 3 damaged/leaking mags, one is near FUBAR, one has a cracked base, ones leaking from the exit valve. Though could be down to the cold possibly. mnmc10
spencerman, the g36 is using an exact copy of a marui PISTOL hop rubber. how strong does a pistol shoot? 350 fps? why dont you just replace the hop nub into a smaller one?
mellvis
Are the magazines as leaky as with their M4 mags?
bankz5152
Very little leaking, only got one leaky mag which was easily solved with silcone gel. Just the casing is brittle.
