Panoptes
From what I've read it's technically an offence for a civvy to wear HM Uniform.
Staffy
From what I've read it's technically an offence for a civvy to wear HM Uniform. Especially in the theatre of operations... Dunno the unit, but that's a british soldier IMO...
Doughguy
Very British kit for a contractor... MTP, PRR, RAV, SIG226 with Crimson Trace, Mocking Bird.. Contractor as SAS Wannabe? luls
TheFull9
Pretty much all those pouches are WAS that's for sure, look at those rifle/pistol shingles in particular: http://www.uktactical.com/acatalog/Elite_Ops_Multicam_Mag_Pouches.html And the magazines inside them look like they've been dipped in DDPM or something, which is very odd. Pdubyuh
It'd be nice if it did turn out to be Army as that would make my CB Rav canon lol
kingdong
looks like he is using a p229
darkchild130
Thats not a contractor, i dont care what others say. The vest (and more importantly 229) is in line with RMP CP teams, or certain Brigade Reconnaisance Force elements. So he's not SF either. Plus, why would a contractor want to be confused with a soldier? Soldiers are actively targeted by insurgents whereas contractors wish to stay as low profile as possible. It makes no sense. Darkchild The only times I've heard of are when they are working directly with the soldiers and don't want to look like the odd one out, who might be important enough to target rather than the soldiers. darkchild130
That would make sense in Iraq, where contractors were seen as easy targets. In afghanistan there is a clear distinction between soldiers and contractors, its a totally different war. A CP operator in Afghan does not want to look like a soldier. Agent Hunk
He's not a contractor. Other then what others have pointed out. He posts on LF and has said he's British Army.
Murta369
been said elsewhere he is SFSG , however , much more likely CP than a contractor

spetsnazdave87
Laser fannies might be going off topic a bit, so... Don't know how 'UKSF' it actually is, but this is the plce I'm running at the moment with my SFWs, dpm smock and MICH (straps have been taped up since I took the pic). abbadon101
Ditch the MICH for a para lid IMO dave. Looks good for a c. 2001/2 green kit but a MK6A will look better than a MICH with that setup.
