Leon Kennedy
Here's the boys. I want to find a 416 style rail for the 14.5", maybe throw a 16" on it and make an M27. No clue where to find a 416 rail though.
Shift
Evike has some ACM HK416 RIS. I think they also have the barrel and gas block some where. No way you can find the M27's RIS. Though I think I should mention that I'm pretty sure that the HK416's top profile is slightly taller than the standard AR's. So you'd also need to find a new upper receiver rail to replace KWA's. I've seen it done before, but the receiver still wasn't right while missing HK's different gas bulge.
Corrigan
C8 CQB á la UKSF anno 2008, now with added mud! You'll have to forgive the mediocre photography, I did my best with the crappy lighting available.

I'm not sure what I want to do with the project. I saw a guy at a local field do it, not sure what he did, and I haven't seen him since. If I went through with it, I wouldn't have the guts to make it 1:1 M27, just a similar representation. The damn thing is spitting 30rps on an 11.1v lipo so it pretty much keeps some heads down anyway!

Leon Kennedy
For that price I'd buy the VFC, or hell, a Hurricane Kit XD
Noveske
The 416 rails won't fit on a standard AR receiver. Not only is the height different, but the entire mounting/delta ring system is different. The top rail also has a locking tab that fits only with the 416 receiver. Leon Kennedy
I gotta find that guy now and see what upper he put on his KWA then!
Shift
He probably used a JG or AGM HK416 upper. I contemplated the idea of using an AGM upper, but I wasn't completely sure about comparability as I found that the AGM broke down like a two piece hop up design but used a one piece hop up or some weird thing like that. I think JG HK416 RIS will fit. I'm sure I've seen their HK416 rail on a standard receiver somewhere on a forum. I don't think theirs has the mounting notch either, but that doesn't matter anyway because you'd have to swap the upper receiver RIS. I've compared a JG receiver rail and KWA rail before and I think the JG would fit on, if you had to modify it, it wouldn't be too bad. Though your upper wouldn't be 100% correct. The easiest way would be to swap uppers, the AGM would be preferred as it has the correct gas bulge and is full metal. Edited December 30, 2011 by Shift
PaganSK
A friend of mine is building a M27. Here's a link to his build thread. http://www.miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gallery&action=display&thread=41234&page=
Leon Kennedy
Good god. My buddy and I joked about cutting two 416 rails and epoxying them. good for him, looks cool!
trustkill
Hi guys. Normally I'm over participating/lurking in the KJW M4 Thread but I'll chime in here since Pagan shed some light on my project: I borrowed my girlfriends lower to check balance and fitment while my current one is in route. Doesn't look all that bad. Just gotta score an ACOG and a PEQ-16a and I'm basically set.
SHWEL
Picked this up today. G&P LMT Better pics tomorrow in the sun.
MRF
Shiny. Or.... rather "matty" I really regret MRP is not just a little bit kosher - really great replica with best looking monolithic upper on airsoft market IMHO.
sunburnthammer
Corrigan, is that a GPS between the ACOG and PEQ?
TheFull9
Kosher for what? Some of the G&P versions have some odd furniture admittedly, but from what I've seen it's a pretty good replica of the real thing in terms of trades, dimensions and features. Corrigan
Corrigan, is that a GPS between the ACOG and PEQ? Yep, it's a foretrex 101, as seen here: Actually, I took some pics in daylight today. Hopefully they're of interest to someone. Legionnaire759
^ Looks like *suitcase*. You should give it to me. Is the first pic real steel? If so, nice attention to detail on your build. Looks spot on besides the foregrip. Edited December 31, 2011 by Legionnaire759
TheFull9
Pretty sure that is a KAC VFG on the upper of the 2 RS SFWs there. Try saying that 3 times fast.
Corrigan
Thanks! The topmost pic is RS, yes. The top RS rifle has the same foregrip as mine (KAC as Mr. Kinnerly says). Both KAC and TG foregrips are commonly seen on UKSF C8s.
Ivan le Fou
Have some of you tried the G&P LMT TR? Not really planing to buy one but... I may buy one anyway.
Blackjack13
Couple updates to my dual-tone Mk18Mod0: Is the Aimpoint Comp M4-S real or replica? I'd love to get one for my next build, but can't justify (read 'afford') a RS one, so if there's a decent replica I'd be interested (if so by whom and where from?). hwagan
Have some of you tried the G&P LMT TR? Not really planing to buy one but... I may buy one anyway. I'm planning on buying the rail as soon as G&P release it separately, the gun itself looks extremely nice.
SHWEL
I almost got the G&P LMT TR when I picked up the one I posted.. The Monolithic upper was just too nice to pass up.

Both KAC and TG foregrips are commonly seen on UKSF C8s. Ah my mistake, I thought you were trying to replicate the lower rifle in the picture and had just added the Foretrex. In that case, great work.
