RacingManiac
Did you see the Tokyo Model's KJ CZ75? I think those are customized not through KJ at all but through third party. Its entirely possible someone might actually do it and sell it....the picture of those CZ certain looks nice than the ones on UNC with the laser etch.
NonEx
Yeah the KJW CZ75 with trades is a different beast, I don't really know who or what makes those but if they can do the M&P I am all for it I have e-mailed both Guarder and RA Tech begging them, but no response :|
-Clover-
I'll admit to not usually being a fan of the tan frames, but this is just drop-dead gorgeous: Video as well:
NonEx
I really hope those Toucan markings are not on the final products They are taking that bird thing too far... And by the way who the hell are Monda International ? And the color of the tan frame in those pics looks to be poorly represented, colorwise, when compared to the majority of the other pics floating around. Bad white balance and light I would suspect. uscmCorps
I just bought the gun yesterday, full sized (they don't have the compact models yet) in FDE Initial impressions: Any chance you could remove the rear sight to see how it's installed? Same goes for the magazine base pad? Are there any screws used on the front sights? Pics would be great. I'd love to know if a RS base pad and sights could be used.
Isamu
I saw the video with them stating they are making CO2 mags... I might buy one now But If I understood correctly, they said they are making CO2 mags for all their pistols, am I right? :s
NonEx
Yeah I kind picked that up to, that it wasn't just for the M&P but for all guns, might just be a missunderstaning, I dunno.
NonEx
Two new posts on arms-cool about the M&P, I guess mini reviews; http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&twu=1&u=http://arms-cool.net/forum/thread-126025-1-1.html&usg=ALkJrhiu5HfRgbAh2kT5y1VFm2TY4_YUVg http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&twu=1&u=http://arms-cool.net/forum/thread-126008-1-1.html&usg=ALkJrhjHSWWpobuwJcHJhHxSDWrAMcS8-g MP mechanical sighting, 0.3 g BB, 12kg Gas Indoor 10M standing position without relying ????????????, CTC ???10cm. Impact about the aiming point just above an inch, CTC spread about 10cm. 10M, 0.3g BB, Green Gas CTC of 10cm. Pretty sweet for accuracy
uscmCorps
Looks like real sights are a no go. Still curious about the magazine base pad.
Mr Foxhound
The takedown tools basepad looks much larger than it is on the real. So I'm not sure how real spec the magazines will be.
NonEx
Yeah I noticed that too after looking at some RS M&P9 videos on YT, the backstrap tool was alot thinner on the real one.
P.S.I.
The trades on that UnCo gun look like they might be painted/screen printed on. Either way I'd rather have no trades over *suitcasey* trades.
uscmCorps
I concur.
NonEx
No it is laser etched, I have that type of markings on some of my KJW pistols. Not sure how it gets white with laser, but it's not paint/screen as far as I can tell. But yeah, rather blank than pooh.
NonEx
Up on eHobbyAsia now, blue and tan version (black not prioritized lol ?) $91 USD http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/catalog/product/view/id/26085/s/we-m-p-gbb-pistol-dark-earth/category/59/ http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/catalog/product/view/id/26090/s/we-m-p-gbb-pistol-blue/category/59/ Gonna have to pull the trigger on the undraded versions soon. Waiting for my retailer to get back to me if they can customize them or not and/or holding out for HK3 versions :| Mweh ! I keep getting hung up on the sight dots. First of all, they are ugly slime green and according to the review on the past page in this thread they don't light up very well. Secondly they appear to be very sloppily painted on on many of the pistols, blotches and *suitcase*. I hate them ! Anyone got any hot tips on how they can be removed without damaging or affecting the finish of the sights themselves ?
uscmCorps
You know, at first I really didn't "get" the point of the blue framed M&Ps. And regardless of WE's intent behind making them (perhaps simply because they could), I can see there could be incredible interest in the LE community to use the blue framed ones as training tools. ETA: Looks like these guns come ready for threaded outer barrels inserts. Not really the sort of thing you want to hang a fake suppressor off of, but more for the US customs regulations in which an orange plastic or metal threaded tip is glued in place to pass through unchallenged. renegadecow
They just popped up at RSOV and it seems there's a fourth color frame: purple. http://rsov.com/product.php?langId=1¤cyId=1&manufacturerId=10&prodId=17356&cateId=122 I seriously do not understand why they're wasting plastic this way. Unless... this counts as a 2-tone so kids can buy them easily.
Isamu
Dont forget the pink frame from Arnies news... I still will get the TAN one with a CO2 mag, thanks
uscmCorps
Not a fan of the tan frame. The plastic used and the Tan dye looks a bit cheap compared to the real ones I've seen. The mold lines and huge gap between slide and frame at the front of the gun doesn't help either.
Isamu
Well, im not a RS shooter, so it looks good enough for me while a bucking change and CO2 mags makes it shoot reliably in winter without exploding in my hand, which may be more than possible as this maybe one of the best WE guns, but, it is still WE
FireKnife
this counts as a 2-tone so kids can buy them easily. In this country not bright enough...... ....though it wont stop some shops abusing this and trying to pass them off as two-tone. 'FireKnife'
Philbucknall
It's arrived!!!! More to follow later once I've finished work
FireKnife
Nice, any chance of a pic with the smallest of the grips on it? Thinking of one, but the trigger to backstrap distance looks huge in the pics I have seen. 'FireKnife'
NonEx
The purple one is not new per say. The colors they are avaliable in are, black, tan, blue, purple, pink. I guess different retailers stock different colors. Phil, you better take some pics, videos and write up info ASAP ! How does it feel ?
Philbucknall
It feels great in the hand with the med backstrap. I came with the large on, which was massive and very uncomfortable for me and the small was just a little too small. The trigger pull is fine and nice and crisp and the finish on the gun is pretty darn good in all honesty. Definitely one of the better WE offerings and dare I say better than the XDM? Yep; yep I do! Racking the slide is great, it feels, well, almost real and very positive too. Aiming is a total joy, possibly as the height over bore is quite low but I found I could just point and the sights lined up instantly. The night sights are naff though. You'll need some flourescent paint yourself if that's what you're after as they don't glow at all! Here's a few photos:
