I also managed to clean up some of my icons somewhat. Silly recycle bin's in the way now. Edited March 14, 2007 by Lithium Jack
pbunyan
if you want to get rid of the recycle bin icon, right click on desktop -> select the desktop tab -> click advanced (or some button like it) -> uncheck the recycle bin icon box  you can always get it back by ticking the box again

Bengali
How do you guys go without icons on the desktop? I can't live without them... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â depends how many things you have in your quick start list (basically moves icons into a small pop up tab on the task bar. Â i tried shifting everything into the qiuck start menu, but in the end i decided to go for wallpapers with a centralised or left handed picture so i could keep some on my desktop just cause its easier. then i added more to my desktop when i did my custom icons, just so i could have each and every thundercat on there
Donut
I could probably go without icons... I have four "quick access" buttons on my keyboard which I'd just configure to open my most frequently used program/folder  And I have no idea what/where this is from, but it's cool and in widescreen. Eddie182
How do you guys go without icons on the desktop? I can't live without them... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Easy, I just click on the start menu, tpye what I want in to the search block, hit return and whatever program I want runs. The joys of vista. Â Plus, I really hate having loads of stuff all over the desktop, it looks untidy. I always keep my actualy desk tidy so why act any different with the one on my PC.
