NSFolsom
Great! Thanks, SamJacksonFan. Imaginary +1 to you, sir. Yeah, they're supposed to be same gun, but whatever.
SamJacksonFan
They pictures show two different perspectives. And Arnies hands are huge compared to the ladie's one. Could make the differende. From the grips you can't tell. Of course the models could be the same. The only thing I see not exactly fitting, is the ambidextrous savety. On Anries one it seems to have more standard 1911-shape, the lady has ambidextrous savety with a more Wilson ore National Match style. But you can't really tell from the pictures. And to rebuild this should be accomplished well with a 1911A1.
Moriquende
I was wondering, is there any metal kits for WA 1911A1s without colt trademarks?

r.ocelot
Looks like one of those KWC 1911s...
hound
I can finally add to the 1911 thread, it's taken me awhile but i finally have a full metal 1911, with another one on the way shortly. Kimber Raptor 2 courtesy of mathub cheers hound
davedawg123
Great pics of a beautiful piece. Needs 2 things though: long recoil guide rod, and raptor grips.
hound
Thanks for the praise, taking my photography course may finally have payed off. Definitely going to try to source some raptor grips but not to sure about a guide rod though, i'll have to try the one off the marsoc when it comes and see what it looks like. cheers hound

Althis
that hat is awesome lol, "stops jihad on contact" and btw nice 1911 lol
SamJacksonFan
Two nice guns … but both should be considered new grips. The Raptor, of course, the Raptor grips and the Springfield something more accurate for the modern outfit Then it would be perfect
hitmanNo2
Good luck finding Raptor grips. The only way to get them is to find someone who has a real steel Raptor and get them to order you some direct from Kimber using the serial number from their gun.
ash^
Better grips on the way ^^ @ althis : this is the Noveske cap, you can find it just here : http://noveskerifleworks.com/cgi-bin/imcar...play.cgi?cat=15 Edited September 29, 2007 by ash^

Donut
Most likely TM 1911 w/ Guarder kit
r.ocelot
PGC, rather.
Donut
o? what's the difference between the two?
r.ocelot
PGC- superior material and finish, kickass front sight, included metal barrel + chamber.
hkssr20det
Most likely TM 1911 w/ Guarder kit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, you can tell it is PGC from the front sight and silver chamber. The Guarder is decent, but the PGC is much higher quality and is a more complete kit.
judgeman
My demi-Kimber Warrior project. Dremeled out some Alamont Grips for my WE
hkssr20det
What had to be dremelled? I would have though they would drop on, other than possibly needing to widen the grip screw holes.
judgeman
The screw holes don't fit right, yes, I had to widen them a bit. They still don't fit right. Guess I should have worded my original post better.
