matt bond
An image of my Galil ARM, with a suitably desert looking backdrop (my back garden at the momment ) I stripped the varnish off the handguard and refinished them to look more like Israeli issue galil grips. Runner
That Galil is AWESOME So are all of EvilHippy's new guns, that's pretty much double the size of my collection right there Edited September 8, 2006 by Runner
phoenix360mute
tell me about it, his latest order cost about the same as the mgs duelies EDIT, and no, the gali isn't really my thing, just my opinion tho, lots of people don't like my guns lol opinions be nothing, except yours, which counts for everything (i like what i just said there, made me sound quite intellectual and at the same time very "deep)" (still at the same time, i look at the clock and say "*fruitcage*, i have to go to sleep, get up, shave, shower, all in 3 hours") thus, in the space of a minute, i have proved i am both a complete genius, yet an utter moron, talk about your uber leet contradictions right there Edited September 9, 2006 by phoenix360mute

Milla
Just got the G&G M14, and its a MONSTER compared to my M4. lol it seriously makes my M4 feel like a little toy. (which after holding the M14 for 5 mins and than going back to holding the M4, i greatly appreciate the size of the M4 lol)
evilhippy
Why did you go for the G&G May I ask? I'm just wondering if the G&G SOC16 might be a worthy purchase - I guess this is one of the new improved/fixed M14s that G&G have properly sorted out?
matt bond
Rocks my socks. How did you make it if I can ask? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Galil is the old FTC gas powered Galil. I filled in some of the screw holes, sanded back the dark varnished wood grips and gave the whole thing a worn looking paint job. Apart from that it's just a straight FTC galil. And yeah paradig, i'm gonna do a DMR. Now sure if i should paint the stock or not and if i do what color to do it.. My M4 is pretty much for my grunt/ MARSOC load out. stewpidbear
URL=http://imageshack.us][/url] TM M733, Hurricane metal body, upgraded and far too much Krylon!
jack10
yes just a tiny bit too much krylon(sarcasm is the lowest for of wit teehee)and isn't the rds a bit high up or can you see through it fine?
stewpidbear
The RDS is fine, magnified too (x2), can still use standard sights too. Height was no problem. Just use standard shooting glasses.
ronburgundy__
I would mount the RDS an inch or so back, then it would be perfect.
stewpidbear
Unfortunately the scope front comes down too low and interferes with the mount, hence the forward mounting.
ronburgundy__
What do you mean the scope front?
stewpidbear
The front of the scope itself, not the flip up plastic cover. The diameter of the front inch or so hits the ris rail. The other thing is the mount is integral with the scope so I can't change it for a higher ring mount.
