South Korea B. Japan C. America Now, if we invade China, we're *fruitcage*ed. If China invades us, assuming there hasn't been another AWB, they'll be *fruitcage*ed. When we ruined Japan, we went over there and send economic aid and did so much nice stuff for them and we were such a big help, Japan is now an economic giant. If only we could do that with Iraq just as easy...of course Japan didn't have any resistance when we helped them and Iraq does. If we ever went to war with N. Korea, I'd be the first in line to kick some commie *albatross*. Oh, and when one of you guys said China doesn't have a free market, it does. Carrion Posted December 13, 2006 Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 please excuse this rather long post but browningman id would like to intorduce some very simple FACTS to you. and also some point to (hopefully) make you think point 1 China is already a superpower both militarily (in terms of numbers and types of weapons) and economicaly with there MASSIVE trade surplus with everywhere. its to a point that everything you own has something chinese inside it. normaly the whole item is made there, you can pratle on about what the us was doing X years ago it means NOTHING the UK up untill the 1970s was THE primary manufacturing nation of the west. now its has one of the weakest manufacturing sectors in the west. all it means is there has been history nothing more. the skills have changed, left the country. hell 100 years ago the lovly rights you have wernt extended to blacks were they? chinas massive expansion in all areas of economy (mainly manufacturing but also in reserch, construction (3 gorges for one small example) engineering, cmmunications, education (on of the better places for further and higher education in the world now due to the skill of its people) ) has produced a global shift in manufacting methodology,. the machines they use are identical or even more advanced than western and japanese ones as they are newer factories beeing tooled up to do 1 job and they aim for and specialise in that, also the chinese have invested heavily in ISO 9000 :2001, the newest quality controll sytem which results in there goods being MASSIVELY higher quality than compairible parts from say tiawan, Thailand etc. this QC system is a WORLD standard and takes a hell of a lot to get into and keep. the chiense dominate all forms of manufacturing pririly on a price front, but also with teh additional skills which they bring high QC systems fast production, and they are VERY fast lower costs due to lower labour costs (its an economic advantage of comunisme and the cinese way) and also lower costs like taxes, they dont kill the golden goose over there they feed it and suport it. you go on and on about using soviet era gear. but the chinese are suing the most modern of russian equipment along with home developed stuff. its common practive for political allies to share technologies instead of developing there own as it is cheeper and makes for a more easily integrated military. and new russian gear is on par with the US and british stuff as they have learnt what can be done to there old gear. also lets face it the us hasnt fought anyone its just bullied its way through using massive overkill which in a prolonged conflict which agaisnt a 1/4 of the worlds population it will be, this just wont work as the munitions will be used up far to quickly. i dislke your high horse mentality of the US, partialy its due to the us education and propaganda machines which continualy tell you happy things not real world issues. partialy its because you cant accept ANY persons not us of being right and yourself being wrong. a good citizen of any country should be able to regonise its good points yes but also its failings which you are blind too. maybe due to where you are in its socioeconomic matrix, maybe thorugh sheer stupidy and lack of a real workld touch base i dont know but i would seriously consider taking time out to read a few decent (european) newspapers and geta grasp of how you (the US) are viewed by others andhow those same papers react to there own countries failings Link to post Share on other sites
