Arty Photos

I doubt much people like this, but i think the decayed colonial buildings there are rather charming

on the contrary, i rather like hk for that - its quite charming. alas the average lifetime of a building in hk appears to be around 10 years - almost a 'blink and you'll miss it'..

not really arty photos, but rather some old ones made several years ago.

and some better photos:

if any of these [and earlier] pics arent showing up, its because photobucket has slowed to a crawl, which is odd as i have no issues uploading pics, only with actually displaying them :(

just come back later and see if theyve come back..

EDIT:

Photobucket & Firefox Issues:

If any of you are using Firefox and are unable to view certain images from photobucket hosted sites, the issue appears to be with equipment that Photobucket have recently installed. no idea when it gets resolved as its apparently to do with a dispute between two backbone [a 'backbone' is the 'spine' if you like, of the entire internet globally] owners who are disrupting the internet intentionally.

but it seems to be having an effect on Firefox and not Internet Explorer.

So, IF you CANNOT see photobucket images in FIREFOX, use INTERNET EXPLORER instead. They show up fine in IE.

edit3:

photobbucket images are working in firefox again!

Oikoik what camera are you using?

IronWolf, i love the decayed look, where i live we have hundreds of ww2 bunkers left by the germans, some of the shots waiting to be taken are truly amazing, nature reclaiming concrete and the like

i have done some studio work, but only in the A level capacity, and i absolutely hated it.

its too limited, too precise and not spur of the moment.

they are the things i like most about photography - freedom of thought, capture the moment and endless scope for imagination.

studio photography am teh suckxxzzooorr !!!
