orca
Spartan Imports posted pics of the Classic Army UMC also now in development. As with the recent CA 416D news, there are no other details at this time.
BigAl
Another highly un original offering from CA. Why call it the UNC, surely that was the civilian legal carbine made for the US?
Victory
Plastic looks ok-ish, imo. -Vic
Unit 318
Needs moar lens flare...
darthrebelpenguin
I was a big fan of CA before the price drop, now none of their releases interest me...
FELDJAGER
looks very sportline-ish
nuclear_darkness
Im looking forward to a cheap but relatively reliable UMP, ive heard far too many bad reports of high numbers of lemons from all previous makers. Just a shame its so blooming bland looking. No selector markings for example.
Johnny Sasaki
Put some proper markings on the trigger group and I'll bite, a good, cheap UMP would be nice.
Munitions Man
Well it's probably better than what we have now.
evilliboba
Another highly un original offering from CA. Why call it the UNC, surely that was the civilian legal carbine made for the US? The civie legal one is called the USC.
Aod
it looks like a photocopy of the G&G UMG. i hope its actually decent
uscmCorps
I've got two G&G UMGs, very satisfied with both. This UMC looks like a clone of the UMG. I wonder if CA will follow the typical pattern of only making hi-caps?
Puding
if i did not see the markings i would have put money down that this was a g&g or DE clone
pedrosalas7
well to be honest i had the G&G UMG and i loved it, never had a problem with it, but i sold it and i regret it
Lewis_Hodgson
Well, I have always wanted a UMP, just the lack of mid-caps turned me off. If CA make some (unlikely), i'll bite...
Fin
I'd be interested, i would love a cheap UMP but CAs irritating trades and lack of selector markings (why?) is a bit of a turn off Also with CA brining out all these new guns why cant they make there own Tavor or something, we need something NEW!!! (but CA is too lazy to do there own stuff....again)
PANZER8
I own a G&G UMG and agree with the other owners its 100% reliable and looks a damn sight better than this option.
Abelius
Had a good giggle with the topic name "Another AEG in Development by CA." Shouldn't it be more like "Another AEG being stolen and copied by CA."
TheFull9
Guess CA bashing is flavour of the month just now... Personally I don't give a monkey's about trades or markings, long as it looks like a UMP from a few metres away that's just fine with me. I've actually always fancied one of these but wouldn't trust either STAR or G&G to be honest, great news.
Chris North
There's the Double Eagle, which isn't half bad and a lot less costly. I don't think CA will be able to offer something better to be honest.
Crocodilo
I wonder if CA will follow the typical pattern of only making hi-caps? Same here. I heard the STAR midcaps fit only the STAR AEG.....bugger!
Panzergraf
While I wouldn't trust CA stock internals anymore, now that not only their piston is weak, but the gears and tappet plates are worse than before (back in the day they both rocked), the plastic-polymer-thingie CA uses for their G36 series is superior to any of the others. So, if I was to get a UMP, I'd get this, none of the others have correct trades either AFAIK. As for trigger markings, I'm sure they'll be there once it's released. Or I'd just the the DE, 'cause it's cheap.
FireKnife
Another example that CA need to bring out something new to the market. 'FireKnife'
eel one [COE]
I have a G&G version also, but the internals have been partly replaced as G&G is unable to supply functional internals. I actually hope that the CA version will be a knock off of the G&G. Then maybe we can get some more parts for it and a hop-up unit that will not reset itself as fast as the G&G does. masakarijoe
the pictures do not give much flattery. could have been taken better. but not a bad idea, though i feel it wont sell too much -Joe
