overmedicated
Crye MC webbing ticks me off. It just doesn't look right to me. I prefer CB webbing on top of MC. Anyone else disappointed with the look of MC webbing? Edited May 12, 2009 by overmedicated
mightymints
looks wise maybe, but you cant fault effectiveness
Cryozen
Excuse my lack of ... multicam based knowledge, but what exactly is a blast belt and why is it awesome?
mightymints
Its part of the Crye CAGE system so you would wear the belt with the chassis. Both are armored. The large chassis I have can hold the large ESAPI plate front and back, and then 4 side plates 6x6, 2 on each side. It is also entirely lined with soft armor, and has plates in the shoulder. The belt also has soft armor in, and can also take a side plate in the rear, and some smaller plates on each side. If you wear them together you get allot of coverage. Together: Sorry i cant o a side by side int he same photo yet, the chassis is currently on the way back from Iraq and the belt is with my fiancee in Texas.
Cryozen
An armored belt? Interesting. Does Crye make a cup too? :
Reincarnation...
An armored belt? Interesting. Does Crye make a cup too? :3 No but they do make a mug Any protection is better than no protection.
mightymints
They also make groin armor But hell, that was a good one on the mug
BigAl
Don't use Krylon, iit'll rub straight of. If you can't be arsed to get it dipped at least use proper paint such a Alumahide or Duracoat.
Reincarnation...
Buckle actually looks replaceable; after removing some thread at the end of the belt so it slips off. With a little more time invested I think it would look better than the "all-fixing" Krylon though. Give me some 550 cord, 100mph tape and some Krylon; I'll make a kite. Chevieblazer
No more molle on the gen II blast belt? Meh, one more thing I dislike about GenII

rolling-thunder
Anyone have the EB Multisham V2 set?> http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=1339 If so, whats the quality? Regular multisham or a bit better? I was thinking of getting a set. Anything I should know about it? Materials & construction is ok but the pants fade in the wash quite quickly. The V2 has a better fit than the V1 but in both cases the shirt seems 1 size down from the pants. My real multicam jacket & pants have been washed more but show no fade. The shirt is worn all the time with the pants, sometimes i wear the under armour shirt under my real multicam so the UA shirt is protected from the worst of the dirt & doesn't need washing in the same way to removed the dirt ,the pants always need the mud scrapping off them before washing.Low temperature washes are kind to multisham. mightymints
There is molle on the blast belt sides if you get the sleeves.
JPU
mightymints you should totally get that buckle dipped Molle by sleeves on belt, isnt that floppy?
mightymints
nope, they are quite secure. As for dipping the buckle, it would be funny but so overkill XD
