Hendrix2247
Didn't see that, thanks man. Does anyone have any closer up pics of them using H-Harnesses?
McArthur
Can anybody tell me where I can find the black waist harnesses seen on all the PJ's?
Wrench Bender
Show us a pic with said waist harness in it... is it just a rapel seat.... could be a gunners belt for helo operations. A pic would help loads however
The Crunchy Bunny
you can get rappeling harness anywhere. REI has a wide selection. BHI makes a perfectly accpetable one for $30. When I finally get around to doing a PJ loadout, that's the one I'm getting.

master_titled
I'm thinking paraclete
matfar
Yeah it's an old RAV (2005), with shoulder armor. Â DBT Predator don't have the handle (for the release system) you can see behind the stock of his M4.

gbiscuit
STSs are CCTs.
matfar
STSs are CCTs. Absolutely, And PJs. Â Anyway, the two guys in multicam are CCTs from 21th STS, right. Edited January 31, 2009 by matfar
Jolly15
So I was right before. I don't really have anything to add other than that.
Wrench Bender
It was my understanding that the PJ's were sucked back into the rescue squadrons by ACC. Something about them being trained to rescue downed pilots not tag along with SF and SEAL's who already have organic medical specialists. Â Can anyone confirm this? matfar
I missed the discussion about PJs in STSs  PJs are assigned in RQS or STS.  Never heard about Master Sgt. William McDaniel and SSgt. Juan Ridout? KIA February 22, 2002, both assigned to 320th STS. Or Tech. Sgt. Scott E. Duffman? KIA February 18, 2007, assigned to 24th STS. RIP  They're all pararescuemen  Also, there are RQS under command of ACC, AFSOC (Special Operations), ANG (National Guard) and AFRC (Reserve). (So if you want to do a perfect AFSOC PJ impression, be sure your inspiration is not from AFRC or wathever )
atomicaardvark
Also, there are RQS under command of ACC, AFSOC (Special Operations), ANG (National Guard) and AFRC (Reserve). (So if you want to do a perfect AFSOC PJ impression, be sure your inspiration is not from AFRC or wathever ) Â I'd disagree, the SOF community in general is or was having to utilise its reserve components more widely because of increased demand for their specific skill sets during the War on Terror. Just because a PJ belongs to the ANG deoesn't mean that they're not a PJ, case in point - a couple of pics of the 103rd Rescue Squadron of the Air National Guard based out of Westhampton Beach, New York state. Â Â Â Â They're using exactly the same sort of kit as is being used in Iraq and Afghanistan, and in fact this is the first time I've seen 10.5" barrels being used by PJs.
