TerranCmdr
Just a q - what's the point of doing a close-up of your trades when they're screwed up?
The Crunchy Bunny
I wanted to see what close up pics look like and how to do it with my new camera. So I practicied with my destroyed trades. I found these pics on my camera last night and figured I'll post them here.
Octopus
Guess the name/make of the last pistol and win a rep point. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Looks like a Mauser Hsc to me. If I was to guess, I'd say it was the HFC non-blowback version and its been attacked with spraypaint.
The Crunchy Bunny
Octopus, your right. It is a Mauser HsC. +1 for you
Octopus
Not hard. I've seen the NBB of it a few times before. Yours looks wrong though, as theres no gas fill on the bottom and your barrel seems to stick out. Clear springer?

Is it up yet? Â Cheers mate.

RSP1
Pics taken just after firing the semi-rapid-fire [about 1 shot per .9 seconds] grouping shown on the target, at 5m. Â It seems that when I resize with Microsoft Photo editor, I get pixelisation as here: http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=936295 Â If I just let the hoster fit it to their window size, I don't get that: http://www.maj.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=936240 Â However, if I use IMG tags to bring the second pic to the forums [this is what I did before, assuming that the host had simply resized them during the upload], it is in full uberhuge size. Ah well, for the sake of preserving the looks over the convienence, here are the links, in the same form as that second one. They should look both clear and normal-sized. Hauk
Would you mind re-sizing them? They're very hard to see and take ages to load  Hauk
RSP1
Sorry about that, I try not to post really huge pics like that. Explanation in the modified post above.
Guinness
The Mini-14 is a desecration of the M14. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Ohh don't look at it that way Sekiryu, think of it as Ruger's "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery" Â And well of course they 'imitated' features of the M1 Garand, 'borrowed' parts of the M1 Carbine, and yes, basically ripped of the M14 Â Â ....but they are still cool and besides, where would the 'A' Team have been without an AC556? sekiryu
Photograhpy question: Â How do you get pure white backgrounds and pure white light? Without actually having a white background and white light.
m0biusace
Sekiryu: Â the easiest and best looking way would be to have exactly that, a white background with white light. It can be replicated with digital manipulation (think photoshop) but its hard to do if you dont have the skills, takes some time, and generally doesn't look as good as The Real Thing. Customizer
Here is a picture that my brother took at our local game site. It was taken when people started running into battle. and here is what it looked like before photoshop: I just adjusted brightness/contrast, cropped it and cleaned the snow from mud that came from everyones shoes . I like the way the sunset makes everything a cool shade of red. If you want to check out other pics then go here. Edited January 19, 2007 by Customizer
