nickless
I believe the M16A1 lowers were originally set-up for the MK 18 Mod 0, which is totally different from the M4 and M4 CQBR pictured above. So, what is the difference between a Mk 18 Mod 0 and an M4 CQBR?

pforcerecon
Nickless, check back in the beginning of the SEAL threads and read up a bit on it and you'll find the answer. 001, very nice setup indeed man. Edit: If I'm not mistake, and please correct me someone if I am, but the Mk18 Mod0 is mainly used for VBSS missions, and the CQBR is used in general along with the regular M4a1. Again, I'm not 100% positive on this, and haven't seen SEAL's in country with their CQBR's that had Mk18 logos on the receiver.

Marlowe
Chaps, I'm sorry to remind you but as this thread is part of Arnies, I must insist you all play nice and drop the petty elitism. If you want to mock others on the basis of some delusion of superiority, please do it on another forum; this clearly isn't the forum for you. As there has been more than enough warnings and I am sick of hearing of the issues the team is having with this thread, the next such nonsense I notice in this thread will unfortunately result in the suspension of anyone, member or staffmember. I hope that clarifies things adequately for everyone to now (finally) start playing nice.

Raven 6
So I finally made the first step for an old school seal loadout circa mid 90's and/or late 90's, at least that's according some pics I've seen. E-LBV 2 canteen covers (only one canteen) 2 Mag pouches Buttpack. Nothing inside the pouches yet because all of my stuff is back in Chile. Pending: Either ABA or M13 holster. Raided BDU top Modern ALICE belt And I think that's all regarding gear and clothing... any suggestions are welcome.

I want to avoid drop leg holsters if possible. I don't have a P226 yet anyway haha

aznsk8s87
Or at least, get a normal one. Reverse flag is only if it's on the right side... since it's the front, it should probably be a regular flag if you want one there. Or so I think. I could be wrong.
Troubadour
Nah, its fine it just looks weird. The only time there are big issues with flags is when you wear a forward facing one on your arm. The flag never retreats. We put a lot of respect into the American flag, hell you're supposed to burn it if it is dirtied by touching the ground or if it gets a rip in it.
