Get your ideas in there as any new ideas, info are being sent direct to ICS who are using ASCUK as part of their R&D team as we are getting all sorts of Ideas down for them and a poll of how much people would pay. Get your little butt over there and get involved in the development. They are building it as a result of the growing want for british loadouts in China. We hope for a Carbine a bog standard and an LSW but it's looking like it's just going to be a bog standard atm. Any way post what you want to see in it here and i'll send the info over. They know i'm a member over here (being a member over here nearly got me suspended) so as i say. Post it here. They are currently Iron sights/mock SUSAT options and compatability with M16 mags as in real life so Armalite owners don't have to buy all new mags. Hissing_Sid Posted June 1, 2005 Report Share Posted June 1, 2005 Well, I gotta say, if I was working for ICS I'd consider using the L85 as a showcase. After all, the other (decent) ones for sale are about $2000 so there's plenty of room for a mid-priced gun on the market. Personally I'd DEFINATELY make sure the receiver was made in two parts, like a real one, and use the ICS M4 gearbox inside it. Beyond that, all it needs to do is use M16 mags, have an adjustable hop-up, a proper scope rail with RDS SUSAT attached and cost less than £500 and I'll be in there like a rat up a drainpipe. Had just made up my mind to go with a CA m15a2, but now, I fear i must begin saving for the l85 I'd be happy with iron sites- as has been proved by academy and TM, there's nowt worse than a scope or reddot that comes as standard but is naff- give me iron sites, and I'll add me own scope later An LSW would be super sweet though... And as to the ongoing ascuk debate, turn the other cheek chaps- we're supposed to be the best of british and all that, so stiff upper lips and the occasional raised eyebrow all round, methinks. All depends how long you fancy waiting, I suppose... I'm on the cusp of ordering an m15, so ICS had better at least declare a tentative release date soon, or CA get my dosh. The guns that WILL: sa80, LSW and SLR. first company to release a quality aeg version of any of these will get my undying love and gratitude. Not that that means a great deal, of course...
