ODST_NE0
I have a friend who runs the same gun, and I haven't heard him complain about MAG mids having problems, so I can say that it should work with 80% certainty. Although I know that particular gun had problems with its gearbox, more precisely with the bushings/Bearings and it's gears. Something about there was pressure being applied on the bushing and gear and it would cause the gears to strip.
Agent Hunk
Sounds par the coarse with G&P gear boxes.
ODST_NE0
Sounds par the coarse with G&P gear boxes. Â Yeah, pretty much gutted as a result. As I know of, it has been running smoothly since then, and he mainly runs MAG magazines (the guy actually introduced me to them). It is very pretty body, great quality. SHWEL
I have it, and the body is fine. As stated, the only probs I had with it is broken Spur gear axle.. But the body is well built. And the MAG brand Mags fit and feed fine.
ericfine50
I thought I read on here or on the ASB Forums that Magpul PTS was releasing an updated version for 2012
ODST_NE0
Magpul PTS will be release their own version of an M4 with its "own" internals and such, and will feature a QD spring feature. Also I believe it was going to have a true ambi fire selector (not 100% on this). I believe it was announced during Shot Show 2011. Â Additionally they will be doing an M4 (ERG and GBBR) with KWA, that was announced during Shot Show 2012. Edited April 24, 2012 by ODST_NE0
scorch
Got a couple of queries for someone who has a genuine Magpul MSA. Â I got one from a store on Ebay, and it came in a small ziplock bag with a Magpul PTS sticker on it. Â Also, it appears to be painted, and it's not magnetic. This leads me to believe it's not nitrocarburised steel as the Magpul website says. Â Did Magpul release a PTS version of it to a lower spec? I cannot find mention of one. I am going to give the guy an angry email if it is not as described.
ODST_NE0
I know Mapgul and Mapgul PTS RSA (rail version of the MSA) we're built to different quality. I know the PTS version was known to break...and was more expensive to buy in the States.
TheFull9
If PTS haven't made one, my guess would be chinese clone. Lot of that kind of scamming going down on ebay.
Horsem4n
how much did you pay for it? cause they probably couldnt give a *fruitcage* that your angry about it.
scorch
Not an awful lot to be honest. I'm just looking to get confirmation before reporting it to Ebay.
Leon Kennedy
If you got it on eBay, it's fake. Pretty much the rule I follow. I've seen plenty of local folks get the shaft from counterfeit products, and hell, I've even fallen for it before.
uscmCorps
I've never heard reports of the PTS version RSA breaking. I have heard many reports of people buying fake RSAs and MSAs (even in what appears to be PTS or RS packaging) and those breaking from light use. Â If it's a PTS product it should have a PTS marking on it somewhere, and even then, make sure you buy from a reputable retailer or dealer. I would avoid at all costs buying anything Magpul or PTS related on ebay. If it seems to good to be true ... it probably is. Also, there are a few online airsoft retailers out there who sell fake PTS products ... so be careful buying from them too. Carefully inspect the PTS product when you receive it. If it's a genuine PTS product that has broken and is still under warranty (or even if it's slightly outside of warranty) contact PTS. But if you end up sending in a fake to PTS for repair, you're gonna be S.O.L. Â As for the MSA, I don't believe PTS produced one as of yet. So chances are ... yours is probably a fake

ODST_NE0
How do you like your magpul scout mount? Looks like your torch is mounted higher, how has that work for you?
Agent Hunk
I like it. Cost less then the IWC mount I used before. Replica Scout lights won't fit without mods though.
ericfine50
The replica won't mount directly to the Magpul mount. I was able to have it "locked" onto the mount by using the QD mount that is on the light and mounting that to the light mount. Â Eric
ODST_NE0
Decided to get the Magpul Guns out for a quick pic. Some have more Magpul on then others. Â

MRF
Not exactly airsoft, but its one the damn best things I've found since Stickman's albums . Have You seen these ? Â Â I would buy any without hesitation . Edited May 10, 2012 by MRF
Ivan le Fou
The rear of the gun is a bit too bulky imho.
ODST_NE0
The grip also sits very low, which would make the gun very top heavy and would have a tendency to sway with lateral movement
TheFull9
I'd buy a Bullpup ACR in less than a heartbeat. Â I love the design of the PDR in every single way except for the 2-stage trigger, that part really throws a spanner in the works for a lot of the CQB sites I play. Shift
Then I think the MSBS RADON might fit your bill. First prototypes looked very much like the Masada/ ACR. The latest models have differentiated a little bit. I can't remember all the parts that are interchangeable, but supposedly it has a common receiver. Doesn't look so common to me, but hey, it's a pretty cool setup. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e9/MSBS-5%2C56.jpg
