Frakk2k
I see lots of People going for OD or Tan vests, imo a good multicam looks a lot better I saw they got this http://www.rsov.com/product/0/1717/p_ACM-F...s-multicam.html @rsov today, very nice price, and all my other MC is sham anyways, this will go perfect with it
Chevieblazer
@ rolling thunder: those are the replica pads, like ebaybanned had them, I already have a set of those incoming, but I'm not sure they'll fit in with the crye pads on my elbow, color-wise. judging from bphilb, the replica ones are way darker than the ops and crye pads
rolling-thunder
I don't know what they are like for colouring,i haven't had a chance to buy anything for a while as my finances are taking a kicking at the moment.I'll keep an eye open for Crye stuff but they are rarer than Hens teeth. bphilb
I see lots of People going for OD or Tan vests, imo a good multicam looks a lot better If only it woud fit with other BDU. i had to go for a set up that provide multiples possibility. That's why people do go for TAN or OD. Still got to pay the bills every month !
Unit 318
DD ArmourChassis Gen 1.5 Where did you purchase this?
rolling-thunder
If you have the cash then a Tan & an O/D vest are the solution.I have been in the position of having to make do & now i may say i possibly have to many vests.I've had an MC copy vest for a while & tomorrow will be the first time i'll get to play in it. I could have gotten away with a Tan or O/D vest for all my kits if i couldn't have afforded others.Buy yourself the best vest you can at the time & improve if you have the money. My recommendation is to buy a Tru spec Multicam vest, they are really cheap & you can load your own pouches on it until you can afford to buy the Tru spec pouches.Depends where you are but if you're in the US i have links with free shipping,if it's the UK then i have links to cheap sellers. Kolos
Today I receive MC tape, not so good as McNett camo form, but it`s in multicam. No more black stuff on my plate carrier Black Kenwood PTT KMC-17, olive drab Hydrastorm tube.
BoE.Solidius
Kolos you have an outstanding rig! Pic of me a while back.
Chevieblazer
@ Kolos: the BW plate carrier is by far the coolest multicam PC out there, this side of the crye armor. very cool rig! @ Solidius: dunno, but your pic looks photoshopped
Architect
DD ArmourChassis Gen 1.5 I see he's still selling them with only one shoulder pad. Whats the deal with that?
uscmCorps
I see he's still selling them with only one shoulder pad. Whats the deal with that? The FFW program and Crye designed the Chassis so that only one shoulder/deltoid protector is supposed to be worn, and that it should be worn on the shooter's weak side. Pretty much every pic of the Crye Chassis with the deltoid protector backs that up. Even in the GRAW games, you only ever see just one shoulder piece.

Just looked up some GRAW pictures and you're right. I just always assumed that they had 2. I still think it looks weird with one though. Either have both or wear none I think. They're also just bulky and get in the way. Hence why when me and a friend had our chassis's I just let him use both.
