Mathub
The S&W 1911 DK looks a bit
phoenix360mute
i think it looks really good, i was considering it for my first gun actually, but then i went over =kill on my first gun (points to mgs3 1911)
n00b3r
I like it... it looks different than the standard 1911's these days.
hitmanNo2
Yeah, I nearly got one as well. May still get one...so many 1911's, so little money.
primussucks
so rather than making a new thread ill as a question here. Anyone know if a real steal Mag Catch will fit in my WA para Ord? I forgot to order one with my last HK purchase and they have RS all over ebay for cheap.
n00b3r
yeah. it'll be fine. RS mag catches worked fine with your SW1911.
sturgis
yeah. it'll be fine. RS mag catches worked fine with your SW1911. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what else will work with scw2? i believe triggers? but how about mainspring housing (i would think not?) hammers? grip and slide safeties?
phoenix360mute
slide stops, some sights, mag catches, trigger and trigger bars, and thats it i think
n00b3r
Magwells, grips, grip screws , barrel bushing, grip safety, plunger pins and spring, rails, recoil plug, hammer spring, some pins, hammer strut... I think I left a few parts out.
sturgis
cool on a different note, a bit earlier i took of the magwell from my compact and wanted to remove the grips (just to see how the the frme was set up.. BUT i can't get the bottom gripscrews off ! the top ones come of without a problem, but the bottom ones don't, i can just keep turning them around, and looking into the magwell, i can see the coper thing moving when i turn the screw am i missing something or is this busted?
sturgis
######, now i have a rattle inside the gun aswell ! on the right frame, where you have the silver thingie that connect to the trigger, well on the left side of the frame there is a little silver plate aswell, surely this is not meant to be loose?
phoenix360mute
you will get a rattle when the gun is completly un-lubed, just give it a quick spray of gun lube, then fire a few shots, it will be fine as for the grip scres, i put my finger on the metal thing in the frame, by putting my finger in the magwell, to hold it in place whilst i take the screw out, hope that helps
n00b3r
No, that' only for the full metal kits... Sturgis, take a knife and pry out the screw, the copper thing will follow...you stripped the plastic around that copper thread retaining thingy...

primussucks
Base gun was SCW1 Wilson CQB. Later I changed the firing pin system to SCW2. That also causes the barrel/hop/recoil rod to stick too far out of the front of the slide to put the barrel bushing on. Have any of you guys used one of theses? and gotten it to work? phoenix360mute
by blowback chamber, do you mean the custom breech that they do? if so i have one, but every CP part that i have (and there is alot on my 1911) i have had to do alot of work on, like the hammer, fire pin, and the breech, but when you get them to work, they work great
primussucks
yeah im talking about the breech. How did you get it to work, i mean its like 2 or 3mm off, the nozzle sticks out way to far. I cant see drilling the thing.
Mathub
I also have a CP custom breech, no problem in a prime metal kit with a guarder nozzle.
primussucks
I tryed it with a stock WA nozzle, and with my Airsoft shooter nozzle, neither one worked. so i put the stock breech back in, even those its so worn it doesnt hit the disconector and the gun spews gas all over the place if i dont hold the mag in just right. and it double feeds like a mutha anyone got a fix for that? Anyone know where i can get a black metal slide for a combat para ord that takes a novak sight and is for a magna gun? the slide doesnt even have to say para on it, at this point i just want the thing to work. hitmanNo2
My latest 1911 aquisition. A WA Wilson Combat Supergrade Custom 1996 model. Comparison pics of this and the 2006 model to come in a few days.
phoenix360mute
wow, i really like that gun, except you cant get a spare mag for it, i really want a few of them mags, i think you should sell it to me
phoenix360mute
that mag looks really damaged, did it come like that, because the gun looks fantastic
Carbine
My brand new TM M1911A1 GBB, waiting for a PGC metal kit to come out Yes, it's a copy of the hi-capa, and shoots like it as well! Chronoed mine at 85mps with 0,2g BBs and green gas. Range is a massive 60 meters and man-sized targets are possible to hit at 50m with ease. I'm in love! Marui have really gotten their act together with this one. This is the most prominent seam on the gun! The trades are beautiful! Shame about the plastic
