davedawg123
Nice. How are the ladder rail covers compared to the standard (KAC?) type?
Jagdraben
my latest greatest...<img snip> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That doesn't look much like a Barret M468... needs a SIRS. Or, if nothing else, the proper muzzlebreak would make the look. Since no one else makes flashhiders for the M468. I'm also not aware of anyone using an M468 with 20-round M16 magazines. I just used the body kit cuz its sexy. In fact, it doesnt take after ANY type of rifle out there: it's a custom made sh*t kicker. All Systema internals, and various external goodies, it's meant to be both distance and CQB capable. The short mags are just for style. I have regular mags as well...(who doesn't??) eldelphi
Nice. How are the ladder rail covers compared to the standard (KAC?) type? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I haven't tried the KAC TYPE, but these are working pretty well. Very durrable, easy to place and cut. So far, no worries.

And, 6.8 SPC will fit in standard m16 type magazines, so whos to say someone didnt buy a 20 round mag and put 6.8 in it. Juat saying... -Jake

Milla
they fit but they don't feed properly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i dont even know if they fit right. Have you tried it? They make special mags for the 6.
poorieuser
Sounds like the same problems they had designing the first legal full auto blank firing MP40. It uses 9.3 mm ammo so the original magazines don't fit right. That created a need for not only custom magazines but custom mag pouches. I'd imagine those 6.8mm mags would have the same problem. Thats what a difference of 1.26mm right? So thats bigger than the difference between 9.3mm and 9mm. Americans tend to engineer their guns with tight tolerances, just like the Germans did, so I can't see those mages fitting... Using my simple logic I'm sure I've *fruitcage*ed up somewhere so please let me know why I'm wrong...

They make special mags for the 6.8 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes i'm positive. I read an article in I think it was either S.W.A.T. or SPECIAL WEAPONS, on different manufactured 6.8 SPC rounds (he was testing them in the barrett M468) Anyway he commented on how normal 5.56mm magazines won't feed 6.8 rounds properly etc. and you need to buy compatible magazines. BTW: my sidearm she's up for sale in the classifieds! buy her! she needs a home. Edited October 4, 2006 by trfo2o
