Spartan452
I just got a new scar but can you tell which company made it?
Sarge133
I have to say VFC from the buttstock and the correct FN magazine.
Magsz
i suspect that midcaps will be a very tight if not impossible fit. they always are with VFC. it's the one thing i don't like about VFC, that they only do high caps. Um...some of their AK's come with midcaps so that statement isnt entirely true.
kliskey
Is it a trick question? I bet its a clone
Magsz
Its probably a G&G lol.

0nslaught
Its probably a G&G lol. Pretty sure its VFC, the magazine on that gun is just like VFC's. Edited June 10, 2008 by 0nslaught
Mig1
Unless somebody else started putting black receiver end plates on DE SCAR's with metal conductors in the stock hinge, I'm guessing VFC.
Spartan452
it is a VFC, also anyone experiancing problems with the bolt catch not working very well?
AnotherJesus
If you can stand to have the cocking handle on the other side, the bolt catch works alot better.

Massumma
it is a VFC, also anyone experiancing problems with the bolt catch not working very well? Aye. It only stays in place about half the time.
Glenn
When you strip your VFC SCAR, you'll see a faux dust cover opposite the actual dust cover. This is what engages the bolt catch. Bend it in a little, but not so much that it won't clear the gearbox. That cures the weak bolt catch.
Massumma
Good tip. Thanks.
Cpt. Shadow Fox
Arg, mine still doesn't lock most of the time. Oh well, I'm getting used to getting my fingers pinched off when adjusting the hopup anyways.
Mig1
I find that if you just tilt it to the left so that the bolt catch is leaning outwards that it works most of the time. For me anyway.
Magsz
Press the bottom of the bolt catch like on a rear AR when locking the bolt back. The catch gets stuck on the inside of the gun somewhere.
paragon
My bolt catch works fine every time.

Nailz
Wow! That is exactly what my SCAR looked like when I had it for the first month! Here is my baby. What is that you have on the left Rail of that puppy. Looks exciting.
