I'm also gonna apologize in advance for the craptastic resolution. The pic itself is old,but the webcam used is considerably older. :D

lol, yup,

i came up with the idea after looking at the magpul AK and i had loads of AK parts knocking about. a few mins in and i just had mental idea's coming so i just went with it and this thing arrived. :D

I'm thinking about painting it FDE and black, changing the flash hider for a Noveske Sound hog and using a Magpul PRS stock. the original AK selector will be going and im fabbing a new one that will come down roughly where the MP5 markings are at the moment so it'll be usable with the thumb (left handed). then switch out the front end for an RIS one. :)

Nice looking gun. I havn't heard much about them in terms of performance, how are they?

Sorry, can't say yet. I have only shot 3 mags with it, and I don't have a fps-meter. It's everything you could expect from a KSC though. Perfect finish on the exterior and it shoots silky-smooth (with a bit of a kick, of course).

I've never shot a sliding stock rifle, but i think it would be ok as long as there is no wobble in it.

I can see the use for this when getting in and out of vehicles, allthough it does take some time to adjust the lenght of the stock if you have to get the gun into fireposition.

I would rather have a folding adjustable stock, like the SCAR, or Swedish ak5C.

If you look closely, you can see that there is still some sort of buffer tube. If there weren't they would probably have made the stock slide all the way "in" to the reciever.

I'm not sure about the length on it though, compared to a regular AR/hk416. Maybe they've shortened it a bit?

The buffer tube is a lot shorter than a regular AR, I am guessing it might have a shorten bolt carrier and shorten buffer such it can get enough stroke to cycle the rounds....

Actionshots are coming in a few weeks!

I'm not much for the color scheme of the 416...maybe it's just the lighting but I much more prefer OD over Tan...maybe a darker color of brown like SAND would be a better color scheme. and maybe if you get a stick-type Li-Po and place it in the tube it would better the weight in the back...done with battery bags :P and I don't see why you still need your front or rear iron sights there if you have an ACOG and a red-dot optic on top :P is that a JG614? asking because of the shine I see there...

Otherwise forgive my constructive criticism...416s are better than M4 :P probably not in airsoft but in real life :P Nice setup. Will think of making one like that with a AGM 416
