skaos
hello guys! is it possible to mount these parts: http://www.ebairsoft.com/aabb-style-series-p-8433.html to this shotgun: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152203101-870-Tactical-Shotgun-replica.html I'm not sure these parts are fully compatible with each other...I tried to search on the internet, but no luck yet... hitmanNo2
That shotgun looks like a Maruzen clone which G&P cloned. EBA says it fits GP, so I would assume you're good to go if it is indeed a G&P clone.
skaos
it's a maruzen clone but I've heard rumours that the pump and the stock fixation is different than the g&p and maruzen shotguns
jv83
On the Maruzen one the rear part of the body protrudes and is threaded to accept the stock screw. On some of the ACM clones the stock screw mounts to a a nut in the rear portion of the inner body. It can probably be modded to fit though. Don't know about the pump/grip though. Imperator
@titchikovIs that one of those full-metal Cyma's??
titchikov
It's a Cyma yeah, got it from gunfire, not completely metal, but a fair bit is.
Imperator
How does it perform?
titchikov
Not too shabbily actually, pretty well matched to my DE M1014. Same length inner barrels I think. Will smash through coke cans at a decent range, grouping isn't too bad, might perform better with .25s. Only problem is the stock rattles a tad when folded, locks in solid in both positions though. T3CH
Could probably shim the stock hinge with some plastic to stop that rattle.
Imperator
Very nice! Although I'm more of a Mossberg fan, I have to say that these Cymas tempt me, quite a lot! That one with the folding stock especially. Good to hear they run well.
chas
TO ANYONE WITH A G&P SHOTGUN: Could you meassure the outter diameter of the magazine tube? I want to buy a railed forend designed for the G&P single shots and see if I can fit it on my PPS with some modding. Thanks!!
Kalashnikov_kid
I'll just pop this here. My latest build. A Denix 1881 conversion with 400mm inner barrels, sping loaded firing pins, and working ejectors Thanks Dave
Skarclaw
WOW!!
renegadecow
I cry myself to sleep at night whenever I see another Denix conversion.
Delark
Kalashnikov_kid, you cannot image the hate I have towards you now. What's the price tag for such project?
ED-SKaR
My word that is AWESOME! Madbull shells? What kind of FPS/range are you getting with them? Get your tweed jacket and flat cap now!
hitmanNo2
When you say working ejectors, are we talking spring loaded shell ejection?
shmook
I thought spring loaded firing pins were a huge no-no in the UK?
Lone_Bullet
want
Kalashnikov_kid
The firing pins are sprung to keep them away from the shells when closing the gun. Internal barrels are sprung to keep the air seal and to lift the shells out for easy reloads On green gas it puts 6 BBs out at 230fps each. CO2 Would give a lot more i guess. Hop units are on the cards in the near future. Current range is 20m without elevation. Thanks Dave
Kalashnikov_kid
Rough costs are £105 for the Denix (on Amazon) £60 for the conversion £40~ for the shells (pps ones are cheaper) Thanks Dave
CatgutViolin
Wow, I just ran across the Denix guns the other day and was wondering if that was a doable conversion or not. Very nice! It seems though that the full stock 1881 isn't sold anymore, which is unfortunate. Edited May 21, 2015 by CatgutViolin
Alias1983
So what shotgun should I buy? I had a tm 870 and it did not feed. I kinda want a cam 870 but idk. I can deal with the shell ejection and all that buy so far what I seen this is the only good shotgun for fielding.
