alston251
I've heard that the switched go spastic.. on and off and on... But mostly fine. Does anyone remember about what power does it tune to when a 7mm bushing is put in? Thanks Edited July 20, 2009 by alston251
lukvdh
Not a technical question, but... I'm getting tired of waiting for "all interesting spare parts and replacements" to be available at one store. AB's store says "out of stock(s)" (the last 's' is wrong dear AB :-)) for most needed items. The "worldwide network" WETTI set up seems not to be a great help. The French people don't answer (written in English) emails. The German people don't have the most needed / antwed parts. There is (for what I know) no "official dealer" in Belgium yet (that's where I live). As I mentioned earlier: when I order at AB I get "sorry out of stock order it next time". "Next time" means: again shipping-costs from HK to here. I'm starting to think the WA-system, being not patented, lets many other companies make parts (or whole rifles i.e. AGM) and this starts to look at a great "pro" to me. So I hope WE / WETTI will get the parts and upgrades in stores really soon. Otherwise: one customer less, and many to go I'm affraid.
Manu le maboul
Got an all china made aimpoint comp M2 replica and it works well with recoil, never turned off itself and still working perfectly .
Major Dutch Schaeffer
The French people don't answer (written in English) emails. They don't answer emails written in French too.
somegirls
It depends on what parts you want. A good chunk of parts in made my third party companies like TSC or PMC and available at several store worldwide.
inque
Going back to optics, I recently bought a G&P Red dot sight (30mm military style) it also came in a brown box Works great, it held the zero really well. Just make sure to really tighten the nut that is attached to the rail.
L4byr1nth
My 4x32 ACOG with full trades came in a brown, G&P box. Supposedly, the ACM optics come out of the same factory as the G&P's. It has held up really well. Has a mildot crosshair, and is really clear. Good eye relief. The 4x32 ACOG + my WE M16A3 = instant DMR. Ben.
alston251
Good to hear that G&P scopes work. Now i have got my WE M4 to mess around with! What do i need to do to my new WE M4? Like where to sand and where to loc-tite? I know the flash hider needs to be.... Edited July 21, 2009 by alston251
lukvdh
It depends on what parts you want. A good chunk of parts in made my third party companies like TSC or PMC and available at several store worldwide. Just a quick 'things I would love to buy from one store in one package so shipping costs are reasonable': -new chromed inner barrel long with new hop-up -some new how-up rubbers -the CO2 conversion kit -CO2 magazine -an extra bolt carrier -extra stabilizer for rod -metal bolt catch -a decent charging handle -part #59 because sooner or later this will brake (so I read here) Just to name a few P.S. Many parts / third party items for the WA / AGM M4 GBBs are available lately. It will look at how soon those will be "out of stocks". If those parts keep coming and being available perhaps I will spend some time and money on that platform.
kojak
I'm going to be using the WE more often and in longer games, and REALLY need a stockpile of replacement/upgrade parts. It's going to suck if something breaks and I have to wait for a part that's sold out. What should a WE shooter have in his parts bin?

TDS
What should a WE shooter have in his parts bin? Obvious: Tools to take apart your WE Silicone/wipe rag as most problems are just it being dirty Barrel cleaning kit White lithium grease Low grade loctite (for guide rod spacer) Good idea: O rings (once I am done moving into new house I'll be selling reinforced O ring sets) Extra Charging handle Extra nozzle assembly (or maybe extra bolt) Really beyond that, there aren't many failures, if you are making an overseas order I'd pick up all of the parts that are less than $5 "just in case" but the only consistent failures I'm seeing are O ring/magazine based, or charging handles snapping. Nazio
Issues with my rifle didn't give me a peace. On my return from work i have spent some time on initial examination of rifle internals. Before i was going to disassmeble it. I have noticed a crack on my bolt carrier. Please ignore signs on stabilizer, it have happened while stabilizer was loosen once. But it was not all. A minute later i have noticed a pieces of something on charging handle. Thiese pieces are about 2 mm diameter. Dont know if its metal, because is black, but feels like it I dont think these two things are related, but i am wondering now if crack on bolt carrier is not causing burst on semi auto. HSOJGNILRAD
My V1 BCG did not have that hole...but my spare and two of my friends V2's did. It does not effect anything. that was most likely like that when you bought you just didn't notice. mine was like that when I received it from AB and both my friends bought theirs from Airsoft extreme and they had them. alston251
I don't think mine did. And mine's the latest one. I can't be bothered to check again now. I just put it back and it's 4:18 in the morning. I'll check when i wake up. Just something to add: I think my WE M4 came stock with the CO2 kit. Because it's nozzle looked like a CO2 one. Andrew March
Can someone show me a picture of where to adjust the hop on the M4?, the so called instruction manual doesn't even make good toilet paper!

alston251
we Scar, and WE M4 with a moded aeg outer barrel ...Snip... Nice. The UBR looks great with a long barrel. How did you mod a AEG barrel to fit? Does it use AEG hop up buckings?
Cobbcore11
no aeg hop-up unit, just and AEG barrel modded, which is actually quite easy to mod to fit the WE All you need to do is saw off the extra end of the barrel that would usually go inside the AEG body and than just put 2 posts on the sides of it that fit into the WE body and the WE hop-up unit/ brass housing. Just take apart your WE barrel and put it next to an AEG barrel, and you can prob figure out the rest from their.
wolfsbane
just got the TSC Uni-Directional Guide Rod with Locking Power Adjustment Knob from Airsoft 123. Fantastic service from 123. Unfortunately after installing, my m4 started to misfire... bolt would not blowback enough and often did a burst and vented the mag. To make sure that it was the new guide rod and not the m4 that was messing up, I dismantled the rod and took only the adjustable nut and added that to my old original WE guide rod. It now fires as per normal so something was up with the TSC rod. I now have a standard WE rod and nozzle with an adjustable locking nut. (wish they sold just that as it would have saved me cash and solved alot of other peoples FPS issues) On initial chronoing, I am able to get 300-320fps but it does about 5-8 shots at 320ish and then another 5-8 at 390ish ....quite consistently as well ... very weird. Still investigating...... Edited July 22, 2009 by wolfsbane
alston251
Just today, I found out that one of my mags' bolt catch thinge doesn't work. Is the TSC plates the only way to solve it?
wolfsbane
Will try the sanding... have you chronoed? Is the FPS consistent? I have found with the TCS plates that they do work it is just that they need to wear in a bit. It seems like the finish is too smooth and the bolt slips but if you sand them a bit or just let them wear in slowly, they do work and they work pretty well.
