muffe66
What´s the best uppgrades for a MP7? My Boltcatch has failed to work. will a new bolt help?
kruck
You'll need a M4x15 screw to attach the pistonhead to the bolt (I think that's the default size, I replaced it with an M4x20 after mine sheared so can't confirm the length of the original). I'd ask at a couple of retailers that stock MP7s if they have the little bar as a spare. If not, it shouldn't be too hard to make your own. Don't know the size of the screw that holds it in off-hand, but if you measure it I'm sure they're available on ebay, or here http://www.stagonset.co.uk/ (webshop is down at the moment). Panoptes
Cheers, have nabbed som M4x20 off the bay. Â Still not locked-down the smaller one... probably an M2 but can't measure it. I'll find something. Â Â
Panoptes
... don't suppose anyone has a spare piston head for a Japan version? Needn't be aftermarket. Â Â
Panoptes
Second bolt assembly now fully built. Â I'm currently running with the rocket valve for winter and will drop-in the bolt assembly with the stock valve for summer. Â I have a 150% recoil spring - with which configuration should I use it? Will its use minimise shock to the damper/rear end or increase it? Â
kruck
If it's stronger than the stock recoil spring, it'll reduce the impact to the rear end. If you're going to use it, use it in summer, since that's when the bolt will be need more damping.
Panoptes
That makes sense, thanks. Â Â

-l-
What´s the best uppgrades for a MP7? My Boltcatch has failed to work. will a new bolt help? Did you examine your bolt? Did this bit(red arrow) of your bolt worn out(become thinner)? Edited January 27, 2011 by -l-

plastik
I picked up the avalon silencer for the mp7 as well. I had originally planned to run a edgi 300mm 6.01 barrel with the 5" HKpro but now I'm thinking about running a 6.01 355mm barrel make use of the length of the new silencer. Aside from a drop in rate of fire will there be any other negative effects? Â Edited February 15, 2011 by plastik

gerryg
Nice setup! According to a chap on a local forum the umarex blurb can be removed using a soapy water solution! Â Now, has anyone any ideas as to where or when the 40rd mags will be in stock?
PianoBlack
For all those with the VFC silencer and flash hider set, has anybody ran a longer inner barrel through it? If so, which one and how tightly did it fit in the FH? Â Thanks, -Piano
-l-
Someone on the locaol forum did this mod. I am still waiting for performance report from him.
mellvis
Hi. Was wondering if anyone has bought the Bomber Aluminum Bolt Carrier and if it's a drop-in fit with the KWA MP7? I don't know the metallurgy of the KWA's stock bolt carrier and I wanted (hopefully) a lighter bolt carrier to get it to lock back on empty with freon on the gun. Panoptes
I run two Bomber bolt carrier assemblies - one for winter, one for summer. Drops in fine on the KSC so I don't see why it shouldn't on the KWA.
david pithers
Anyone know of a decent aftermarket hop rubber ?. I read that standard ksc glock ones will fit but am having trouble sourcing them. Shots are all over the place at the mo, so hopfully new rubber plus tightbore should sort it. Cheers
kruck
No aftermarket rubbers, most KSC/KWA rubbers are interchangeable. Give elite shooting centre a ring see if he has any hop rubbers left, if not give fire support a bell.
david pithers
Thats a shame, still maybe replacing plus TB will give me better accuracy. Im wondering if the npas has something to do with it as well. Cheers anyway
aznriptide859
FALCON makes an aftermarket rubber for the KSC/KWA GBB's.
kruck
So they do, I stand corrected  I'll order a few when they come back in stock, see if they make any appreciable difference in my system 7s.
PianoBlack
Â Just showed up today from EHA. I should have a chrono report this weekend. Â -Piano
