Alex Schmalex
Kitlist Please? And where do you get the shoulder protectors?
Erik_MAA
Updated since I have made a few changes. The base platform is a set of Blackhawk suspenders (the older style) with the new Blackhawk MOLLE-style STRIKE belt. I thought that the "desert" color of the suspenders was too light, so I painted it with Krylon. 1. Tactical Tailor hydration pouch. I am thinking about replacing this one with the Condor, because from what I've been able to see the Condor pouch is larger. 2. Tactical Tailor smoke grenade pouch. Used as a radio case. 3. Maxpedition small TacTile (one on each side). For carrying small items, bug juice, mission info, medic cards, dead rag, etc. 4. Tactical Tailor double magazine pouches. Each holding 2 M16 mags with magpuls. 5. CTD molle-type double-mag shingle with a pistol mag pouch attached. Holds 2 M16 mags and 3 M1911 mags. Mag pouch is from an unknown source off eBay. 6. Official AR15.com logo Maxpedition Rolypoly, used as a dump pouch. 7. 100-round SAW pouch, loaded with a speedloader and two BB bottles. 8. Cold Steel training knife in a SpecOpsBrand sheath. There is a Leatherman multi-tool in the sheath pocket. This is also mounted on a CTD shingle, which holds 2 M16 mags. 9. Blackhawk SERPA holster with my trusty M1911, also mounted to the shingle. 10. Maxpedition Grimlock, used for routing my hydration tube. 11. A D-ring I use for attaching a single-point sling. This is also the anchor point for my USGI pistol lanyard. VolkaV
The short kit list, stil under construction: Crye Shirt w. Crye elbows Ops Pant w. Crye knee DirtyDagger 1.5 ArmourChassis w. Pouches from; TacticalTailor, Emdom, CE-Tactical, 762-Tactical and DirtyDagger. If you don't mind me asking Duck, how much was your loadout in total, if you had to give it your best guess? I'm looking at doing complete multicam loadout myself. I like the plate carrier you have, I haven't seen one like it anywhere. I hear that DD is a little dodgy and pain to order from, but is good quality? I was already looking into the Multicam Combat Shirt and Pants combo, and SI gloves but I could still use advice on such things as I am still pretty new. I don't mean to hijack the thread but I was curious, send me a PM if anything else. Further off-topic, Kliskey would you mind sending me a PM on the PC you have for sale? I obviously can not view or access that portion of the forum, appreciate it sir! Please more multicam pics!!! Edited July 4, 2008 by VolkaV
Architect
DD is indeed a pain in the *albatross* to deal with. I'd stay well clear. The chassis is awesome though. Great quality, but I'm not sure it's worth the price now that there are cheaper replicas about. To be fair though, none of the other replicas seem to even come close to the quality of the DD one.
