Habakure
The dog has farted 5 times in twenty minutes. He really stinks. Bad dog.
shmook
Only 5 times? Luxury.
Mike_West
I still feel like *suitcase*, but I didn't have a fever in the morning, so I can't hope for another week of sick leave. So I'm shivering, disoriented and worst of all - at work.
Tinkerton
I stupidly assuming my new gfx card would come with a display port adaptor. I was wrong.
DrAlexanderTobacco
I'll check work to see if we've got any spare adapters I can send you! No promises though
hitmanNo2
I've never had a graphics card come with DP adapters. Always DVI. Even on flagship cards.
shmook
Heh, DP...
Tinkerton
Quiet you! Thanks for the offers folks but I've primed one for tomorrow. Fortunately my main monitor is DVI so it works, just the blessed second screen won't until the adaptor arrives. Shame.
Got Wood?
Why aren't you people using HDMI?!?
amateurstuntman
Because regular HDMI can't support G-sync or 1440p monitors, you need HDMI 1.4 or above. Even then it is limited to 60fps. If you are a G-sync 1440p 144fps baller you need DP.
Tinkerton
Because most actual monitors don't have HDMI? None I've seen do, although admittedly I haven't looked at monitors for years...
amateurstuntman
Yeah, we aren't console peons - HDMI is for living rooms.
scorch
Girlfriends laptop is apparently possessed. This has somehow become my fault/problem.

Tw1tch
Looking for some Crye style G3s in Multicam as it's easier to get than AoR2. But I'm stuck between ordering a new pair from Semapo or a used set of genuine Crye for roughly the same price, I don't know what to get. I mean with the real ones the listing just says used, but what if there's wear and tear that shortens the life of them?
DeltaZero
In my experience I'd go real.. I have 2 sets of real Crye (RG/Black) and a set of Semapo (M81) the difference is definitely noticeable.. I'd say the Crye has held its colour better too but then again they're both block colours so it's less noticeable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tw1tch
I think I'll bite the bullet and buy a set of real Crye's new. Will just have to save a bit longer. Not like I game often at the minute anyway so no real rush. I'll be getting the new Semapo waterproof jacket so I'll compare that to the BFG MC stuff I've put on my belt. I've got an AoR2 6094 from them and it seems pretty good, there were a couple of loose threads which was worrying but not deal breaking.
DeltaZero
The waterproof jacket will be printed no doubt though so it'll be slightly different colours.. I went new Crye for my RG pair and second hand for the black.. Either way I'm happy they're definitely worth the new cost. And realistically there isn't too big a difference in price. Tw1tch
Buy once, Crye once right? It appeals to my geardo side too.
Pdubyuh
If you do want AOR2 this http://dragonredairsoft.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33_35&products_id=216 set is pretty good (now youve decided to go Crye i'm sure you wont change your mind)
Skarclaw
Minded to agree... I got a helikon combat shirt which had four skimishes before I broke the zipper on the front!! edit: though to be fair, I could probably fix it, but still. Also about a month ago I spent £45 on a (pretty awesome) turtleneck from John Lewis and it's torn down the seam. John Lewis!!!
Tinkerton
Take it back, express disgust that clearly this tactical neck has slipped through the rigorous QC checks that normally john lewis adhere to so strongly, and ask politely if it could be exchange for a new one.
hitmanNo2
Yeah. John Lewis exchange policy is one of the best out there. I'm sure they would sort it no issue.
Skarclaw
cheers guys will give it a go - I chucked the reciept though the label says it's from the "selected homme" range so fingers crossed. if not will get my mum / gf to sew it back up. On a similar note my bro wants some trousers with integrated kneepads. Crye is out of the question but any other suggestions? I've seen emerson but he could probably spend more than that if needed. cheers!!!
