Davedawg, SD makes a nozzle extension, available through den or Un, cant really remember.. AirsoftWorld.net has some as well I think..

Yeah, Wa's on Propane are fantastic, I don't think WA's are inferior to other makes when it comes to taking propane, I just think you get so much more blowback than with other guns, therefore this translates to danger for plastic slides.

I mean, a WA Beretta gets better fps with 134a than a tm beretta does with green, work that one out..

Thanks, and I just received some items from den. <_<

If anyone in the US is ordering from Den or Unco, I'd be obliged to picky back your order. Shipping domestically should be a matter of a couple stamps, if that, and I can pay double the cost ($5 retail, $10 to you). :)

I bought a new SD slide and refinished it to get rid of that blue-ish color. Also installed a silver trigger and single sided safety.

There's a lot that seems wrong with that Kimber, no offense. It starts with the slide and ends with the frame:

-The slide says 'CUSTOM TLE/RL II'. IRL, it would either say 'CUSTOM II' or 'TLE/RL II'. Or 'CUSTOM'.

-The frame doesn't have a rail... but the designation pretty much says that it does. All TLE/RLs have rails. TLEs don't. But TLE/RLs do.

So... which Kimber 1911 is that supposed to be?

sao's W.A.A???????

Western~Arms~Anonymous, Like AA but for WA freaks :P

Just to go back to SD slides, they don't seem to have the same QA on sizing as say prime and PGC. I have two identical SD slides for a 1911 and on the same frame one of them works fine and the other is to tight to get it on without some severe fettling going on.

Holy moly I think I've just found my next purchase...... Springfield Vickers Custom kit... Looks like a late MEU and looks like it might be steel as well.... Bleedin wants to be for 750 odd dollar!

i cant believe that steel set is 750 dollars, lol, an SD frame for a TM is $75 odd, and an SD frame for a WA is $230 odd, just annoys me

The SD frame for the marui is die-cast not cnc'd. Not that SD doesn't bump the price for WA stuff, but this time there is somewhat of a reason.

lol. So besides occupying space in my garbage can, does the sleeve/tube serve a purpose? I'm assuming the sleeve replaces the barrel link?

Also, if my SCW3 were to have an adjustable hopup (read a few places that some do), where would the adjuster be located?

I probably asked this before but I don't remember the answer: Is it possible to put the "adjustable" type Bomar rear sights (a la WA SVI models and WE 2011 models) on a TM HiCapa 4.3?

edit: I'm a bit slow today. I saw these type of sights in a few pictures so I wasn't thinking. Feel free to move my post to a 2011 thread or delete it.

Comparing my TM 4.3 slide with my WA bomar slide, the cut angles and heights are not compatible.
