Ledpocket, paint the slide release and the thumb safety black. I would add some slimline grips too, thats a pocket pistol large rubber grips are a no no! They leave alarger more visible print as clothing will stick to it, besides a nice pair of wood grips would look ace!

I'll be working on some low profile grips, and I think a little more black paint is in order.

The more I look at it, the more I want to do the ultra rcp II treatment:

-bobbed beaver (tail)

-bobbed hammer

-sight trench

I'm not overly fond of the grooved grips, but I'll figure something out.

As for building a gun, I suppose if you sent me the stuff, I'd put it together. To spend $650 to $700 to have that stuff shipped, then assemble, then sell, doesn't appeal to me ;)

bling bling! :D Hope you remembered to set the video for Face Off - that's on atm :P

Here we go my 1911 sidearm project is pretty much complete: It's loosely based on the gun from the Hitman games:

I was tempted to copy it but I just couldn't help myself taking it further (plus the railed Kimber frame really caught my eye). Here is my "Hitman Version 2" with my Series 80
