Thorbard Posted December 23, 2006 Report Share Posted December 23, 2006 (edited) As far as I see it there are two situations in which they're targeting people: A ) use of actual licenced trademarks - in this case I dont see them doing anything wrong - they own the rights to produce/sell anything with those brandnames or whatever, so they're just following that up. B ) use of generic names for example "M4" or whatever, which was ruled in Colt vs Bushmaster to be too generic a term. If this is the case nothing is there to worry about. But in either case, since cybergun has no intention of taking it to court, surely theres nothing for the retailers to worry about. And if cybergun rebrands rubbish products - just dont buy them. Maybe thats just me. But I dont see any reason to make a big deal over this. Anyway, thats enough off topic I think. Thanks for the feedback anyway.
