newhotness
Ight fella's, I picked this gem up on a local forum, I just want to make sure it fits a Dboy SCAR All right, Its a Star EGLM.
Victory
If it doesn't...can I have it? (Srsly tho...) But to answer your question...it should. -Vic
aznriptide859
I heard all other rails besides the STAR SCAR are too short for the STAR EGLM.
Mig1
I've seen photographic evidence of a STAR EGLM on a VFC SCAR. I do not know if he had to modify it to fit.
Chevieblazer
i recall there was a discussion on the genereal forum about just that. it fits the VFC, but not the Bboys
mattmanic
I know this is a pic thread but it seems the place to ask Scar related questions. What are the main differences between the VFC and the Star? They're both the same price, give or take £10 but the Star comes with the EGLM. However, the general concensus seems to be that the VFC is a much better gun. What I want to know is, is it really so much better that it's worth sacrificing an EGLM?
aznriptide859
Well a LOT of the STAR's parts are specifically for the STAR SCAR - which makes it a lot harder to find replacement parts for if something goes wrong. Also I've heard compression is terrible between the hopup and the air nozzle, so spring upgrades will put more stress on the gearbox with little FPS improvement.
mattmanic
Well I don't plan to upgrade. Did I hear something about a VFC EGLM coming out?

The Crunchy Bunny
Dude tomo, that SCAR setup is perfect. Exactly how mine would be if I had one (maybe change the railcovers to tangodown, but IDK)
