them CA ones are ###### and about half the weight of the MM one.. .huh?

what was your name on ASZ?

right...I also have the CA one which is a total disappointment...I use it for my K briefcase....but I sure miss Rob...he use to get all sorts of hard to get stuff from Japan..my name was the same as it is now back in the ASZ days....bunch of old folks that we are...

The only rare gun I have is my AC556 custom. It's bv powered.

I also own a TM CAR-15 and an Asahi M60E1 SDX. I don't consider them as rare because for the right price and with enough looking, you can own one. However, my AC556 is a custom one-off and you'll never get one without making it yourself. Unless, the airsoft gods smile upon us for nice Mini 14 repros, but I don't think we're that lucky...at least not yet.

AC556 is definitely worthy. . but I agree with you on the Asahi M60s. .

Oh well that's just great (looking at who joined the thread). . .

here comes AirsoftNY and his PPSH and Escort 1919. . .

the Sterlings are one of the "Kings" of bb pissers. . I'd go through 1x 50rnd mag per person because the ROF is so fast. Trying to shoot burst. . a lil difficult. . might as well empty the mag. .  Thus. . 14 mags was JUST enough.

I had a MGC Calico M1000 (9mm version). . .NBB though. . well over 400 fps on green and over 500 w/ regulated CO2.

Oh man, do you have either of those still? How much does a Sterling or a Calico run you these days, provided I can get my hands on one?

For the right price you can own anything and get anything made... Anyone wanna show me a BV-operated PKM? ;)

Yes, hence the point of my entire post on the CAR and M60.

Perhaps you would get a better response to a REAL GUN forum and not an airsoft forum? I don't have a problem showing these off, but in a rare AIRSOFT thread, I could actually care less. Wasn't this the same deal Krazy L used to do?

In perusing the new pic thread, I think we have started down the whole problem I feared it would be. The definition of rare, etc is subject to wide interpretation. A production gun that's still production, no matter how little used or seen, doesn't qualify as a "rare" gun to me. I also don't think rare accessories make it a rare gun, but I expect to meet stiff resistance to this point.

A firend of mine and I started discussing this thread last night, and he promptly declared that he wants to mod his glock 18c into a Kriss Super V SMG. I'm not sure you have seen one, as it's still under development, so I'll try and get a pic soon. You will laugh at this gun.

I've got a pair of ancient Beretta Cougar Inox (not the new kind, the lightweight discontinued ones that ran a decade ago). One of them's just being sent now, the other one's a dream (except for the occasional magazine valve difficulty, it's not designed for propane).

Also, just bought a new collection-purpose barely used TM Steyr AUG Military.

That's about as rare as they get for me. Pictures'll go in the thread when I have everything.

I've got a Daisy Uzi (model 13, I think its referred too). It's a really nice springer, nice heavy bolt and it's shell ejecting, though I've lost most of the shells. I assume it's rare, tried searching for one for sale, and only found one in US, selling for about $400.

I was given it by a friend over 10 years ago, who died 2 years ago, so I'd never part with it. Wouldn't want to anyway, it's a nice gun, even for a springer.

Decimus.

Marushin Uzi AEG. Spare magazines are super expensive. :(

Maruzen KG-9 Blowback (Not the external Rig). It was pretty good on the few occasions I actually used it for skirmishing, seemed alright on Green Gas, though the only mag I have for it is leaking something rotten. Presumably since I left it for a good 6-7 months with no gas in.

I had a KG-9 too, and the magazine was leaking too. But fortunately you can still get valves for them - search for "kg-9" on DEN. I bought the mosquito valve (I think), and it worked great.

And apparently, those valves are also compatible with TM G26/92f - sooo, I suppose a valve for TM G26/92f would also work with the KG-9? Must've been some standard valve type back in the day.
