olaman
If you've gotten that amount of wear on your barrel, I think you'd have a slightly more worn fireselector, charging handle, magrelease and trigger. But you're definitely heading in the right direction, looks really good so far, just complete the look. Edited June 6, 2008 by olaman
Sarge133
Looks really good. But for that 40 year old afgan look it'd need to be alot more worn, and get it pretty sandy/dirty. Â Just my $.
Dahmer45
Olaman, those G3s are freakin' sex! Mind giving me a kit list on one of em?
Revenge Seeker
Thanks guys! I was expecting a whole heap of criticism. When my hands heal, I plan on making it like this:   Or, if I feel up to it, exactly like this:   Apparently, I just found out Dboys new paint is actually tough to get out (thanks to Utty!)... this assures me that I'm not just a weakling.  ----------------edit  And yea, I've just got done completely silvering down the CH. my_plague_666
My first "wear" job. I started out wanting the all silver "40-year old Afghan" look but got tired. Â how are you going to manage that with a gun that wasnt around 40 years ago?
Revenge Seeker
Lol, true... haven't thought about that. Oh shucks...
airsoft_maniac
Decided to give my M4 a Desi paint job with some artificial wear.    k   I think it looks too yellow ( Spray some brown in there) and too worn.
kie
I think it looks too yellow ( Spray some brown in there) and too worn. Â I just striped it and re sprayed it with a better paint. looks less banana Ive only done some small artificial wear on the main wear points going to leave the rest to natural wear. STAACK
G3s. One of them painted today. Â Amazing! Where do you store the battery?
CapaciousZepher
Sorry, Kie, but I don't like that much better than your original paintjob  Cheers!  - CapaciousZepher
TheKurodaVagrant
Kind of humorous to say this, but I preferred the old paintjob. It looked like a prop from the post-apocalypse.

airsoft_maniac
Sorry, Kie, but I don't like that much better than your original paintjob  Cheers!  - CapaciousZepher   same here looks too scaley. the first paintjob would have looked better if you had just sprayed it with a darker color kind of like tan or khaki. and with less wear.  just keep on working on it im sure it will look better! paragon
Can't get much more battle worn than this... I've been through countless games with this sight and yesterday someone comes right around the corner and shoots me once and the BB slammed right into my sight from about 1 foot away. PsychoJim
Whosloosin, Â Love the look of the SP CAR 15. Was it natural wear or artificial?
whosloosin92
Natural. This gun has been around for a long long time and has been skirmished at many big events. I could never artificially wear such a rare and beautiful gun.
