sturgis
cheers btw, question for the experts here, iirc real steel SPR rifles in the military have A1 lower receivers, right?? making them have a full auto option.
PlasticMag
Yes they do.
sturgis
Yes they do. good makes it allright switching it to full auto in game then
PlasticMag
Something like that... I'm building mine with a FA option as well, but given velocity limits here it'll stay in semi. I'm keeping the FA to clear gearbox issues (shouldn't happen, but still).

PlasticMag
Oh, right on. Yeah, as far as I know the SPR program is still being assembled on M16A1 lowers, they may have swapped to M4 lowers but I think it's still M16A1-spec lowers. No one really knows anything about it, the Wikipedia entry is all speculation, so going by photos alone they're A1, and those are old photos.

Haha, thanks! if i ever get a DMR, im painting it those colors. what are the names and brands? -Joe I used Krylon Khaki and dark brown. I then used a satin transparent "honey" colored clear coat to tone down the khaki and better blend in the dark brown and khaki.

Heilage
Nice Armalites here.. Can't wait to get an M4 myself. But I'm thinking about using short (VN-style) magazines instead of the regular type. What do you guys think looks best? I kinda like both.
Porscht
I like my CQBR and my SPR with short VN mag but i only got one and don't want to change all my pouches to store short mags. for normal play only long mags.
Heilage
Why do you have to change pouches to store VN mags? Are they that much smaller?
