Here's my contribution for today. Double post not intended, but all the pics...

Updated the m4 with a painted flash hider:

And I know you were all wondering "when is that uzi going to get chopped?" well, I didn't really chop anything, but I made an outer barrel that is threaded the same as my mac-11. Now I can screw silncers and junk right on instead of using set screws. Plus all the silencers and junk for the mac can now attach to the uzi.

The outer barrel is about 2" shorter :) the inner barrel is unchanged.

it's a TM uzi.

the rail is the grey nitro vo.

I think I put up a link a page or 2 back.

edit: the uzi has been fine so far, but I've only got a few hundred shots through it (even though I've had it for months)

it'll be getting a lot more use, I really liked skirmishing with it.

As standard it's a fair bit quieter than most aegs, I'd say it's probably the quietest aeg I have actually, but it makes a different kind of noise (because of the unique gearbox I guess) so I can't be certain without an actual decibelious-volume-detecting-gadget-thingy-device (I forget the simple names of things).

With a silencer I imagine it would be very quiet indeed, there is little in the way of harsh mechanical sewing-machine noises as it all sounds muffled and dampened already, the crack of barrel noise seems louder than anything else about it, in fact :)
