Mr Foxhound
The 5.11 Mini chest rig was discontinued. Is on this website for a lower price http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-tactical-chest-rig.html I needed something that held more stuff so didn't get it.

The Crunchy Bunny
Speaking of Mini-MAV's, I just got mine all pouched up for DM work with my M14. I'm gonna get a TT 1H in Multicam to finish it off.

Mr Foxhound
1. 03 Modular Split Front Chest Harness I wanted a light chest rig. My Eagle Chest Rig was a bit to hard to get on with a Hydration pouch. This one carrys all I need and has a Hydro pouch attached to it. Easy to take off and on. Very impressed. Pouches: Diamondback Tactical .45 Pouches with Detloc Amazingly fast reloads, holds the TM MEU Mags like a glove. Not to tight, not to loose. They open a different way then most pouches. Anyone looking for great 1911 mag pouches get these. Tab is pulled and the front flap falls forward on the Velcro. BrooklynBorn
Figurred I could ask this here. Is the Pantac LT 1961A band made just for 7.62 mags? The site I'm looking at says that the pouches will fit 7.62. How well would 5.56 mags fit?
Agent Hunk
The 1961A is sized for .556 mags. You might be able to squeeze 1 7.62 mag in each pouch...

navymp28
Nice Micro Rig, I love mine. Did you get the enhanced straps?
ERTrifleman
Thanks, I did not get them, but After doing some drills with the rig I've been thinking about picking up a set, I'm not entirely sure if it's necessary, but I do think it might be more comfortable. Do you think they are worth the extra money?
navymp28
ohh..yeah I do. They are comfortable and worth it.

navymp28
I dig it hunk...nice kit. How strong is that 'biner?
Pkekyo-Nor
Strong enough to hold a ballistic helmet or similar weight atleast, at one point I had a HK416 on one. It's not made for climbing though (obviously), so it won't support a person... Edited March 14, 2010 by Pkekyo-Nor
Agent Hunk
Thanks navy. Its rated for 200 pounds. I just use it for smoke pins and chem lights though so I can't say anything much from experience.
ERTrifleman
I hate to post the same rig twice on the same page, but my DBT radio pouch came in the other day and I figured I would show it off. I took it to a small pick-up game last weekend for the first time. I definitely see myself picking up the enhanced H-harness pretty soon, but it's not a top priority at the moment. Agent Hunk
Looks nice, I was looking at a similar type rig for a light set up but ended up buying a fixed pouches chest rig, that should of been here already. Is the enhanced harness really needed though? Doesn't seem like it gets heavy enough to warrant padding.
tbsix
Navy, what color is that rig, I'm thinking of picking up a khaki OSOE M4 micro for my RS rig.

I'm currently running that with a M.U.L.E and soon a VTAC sling. After a long skirmish it gets a little bit uncomfortable. I'm just not sure if it's enough to warrant $45 right now. Agent Hunk
BHI Lo-Vis My chest rig for indoor CQB stuff, and any game where I won't be shooting alot. Needs a few minor mods. Already got rid of the awful pull tabs BHI put on the elastic and replaced them with para cord.
atomicaardvark
Already got rid of the awful pull tabs BHI put on the elastic and replaced them with para cord. Might be a silly question, but do you mean that you removed just the pull tabs, or the elastic as well? Interesting mod nonetheless, might be something I consider doing to my DBT Low Vis RACK.
