Built another M4. This one's based on a G&P CQB MOE, ditched the front end and replaced with a Troy MRF rail/VLTOR block, and mixed up the furniture colours with my TRX. Makes a really nice short range DMR, the ACOG is lethally accurate at 30 yards.

And (thanks Dave) - Got a 4x20 scope for my XM177, which is even more accurate XD

16'' is pretty much done but pondering putting a black MOE or CTR stock on there soon as when I get my 10'' back from the shop I won't have enough four position stocks to go round!

C8 just waiting on a diemaco DIS and A2 grip.

do you have the 4x illuminated one? I loved mine, had the best eye relief of any airsoft scope I've used.

Have to agree big time on this, have gone through a fair amount of different magnified scopes, including the elcan, and I have to say the Spectre is by far and away the best I've used

I do. The eye relief is the one thing I would say I like about it aside from looks. But, if I'm not looking 100% perfectly through it, I can't hardly see anything...

Safety catch off on that M4 there tut tut ;) I'm liking the relatively standard look on it though, no frills, just a good optic. Originality at its finest :) I'm going to pimp my M4 in the next few weeks hopefully, an EOTech 552, a single RIS rail and a vertical grip. It also needs a clean as it's got *fruitcage* loads of mud on it from the last game. Pictures soon to follow!

Just as an FYI only a charged and ready to fire AR15 variant can go into safe, otherwise when not ready to go they sit in semi.... his safety setting is perfectly acceptable for an image, but I do know what you mean.

I have heard that storing an AEG in semi some how puts less stress on whatever internal part is related to the selector switch (selector plate/spring?) Myth? Dunno.

Regardless...

Is my M4 something you would find a US service member overseas using?
