kinau
KSC and KWA are the same thing - highly recommended, by the way. TM only do AEP, not GBB. And the KJW just sucks. And that question should go the the Newbie section. Or search - theres loads of reviews everywhere. Kin
bilabong32
I know that the TM is only AEP but I thought I would throw it in the mix too.I remember hearing that really the only difference from the KSC and KWA are the trades. Is that true?
thomasw
Yep, the KSC has trades, but I believe may have a plastic slide. I'll let someone else correct me on that one.
0nslaught
Yep, the KSC has trades, but I believe may have a plastic slide. I'll let someone else correct me on that one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> KSC is the one with the trades, KWA is the same as KSC its just that where the trades would be on the KSC, its just blank on the KWA. there are no trades whatsoever. and yes, KSC uses plastic slide. But on the KWA the slide is metal but, it is bad pot metal. EDIT* well this is awesome, i just charged my magazine with the high flow valve with gas and it just sprayed out the top. great...i have a leaky valve. just email UNco, hopefully i will get a replacement. ugh.. AliceHKfan
iirc, in the UK their KWA's have trademarks, its just that our US ones don't and there are differences in markings for the KSC Japanese and Taiwanese. For instance the USPC doesn't have a serial marking/number under the "Heckler und Koch, Gmbh" on the USP45 it doesn't have either. (this is on the TV)
lineman66
If you want 100% correct trades, the TM is not the one for you. But perhaps you should think about what you're going to use the USP for. Are you more of a collector or player, if you're a player, the TM USP AEP will be perfect, no venting gas (or running out of gas) , battery lasts 2,400 shots on one charge, great range. Some shots of the TM "trades": and the thing that bothered me the most: when you switch to F/A, there's a "30" marking hidden underneath the selector... LOL the TM is a skirmisher's pistol, pure and simple, no need to gas up, just rock solid performance, regardless of weather.
tome
If you're feeling flush consider the Tanio Koba USP tactical with OD frame as they say on the internet - looks teh sechs http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...2006-15,GGLG:en EDIT: Ah.... it's sold out Edited June 8, 2007 by tome

AliceHKfan
interesting.....500 made for DOMESTIC.....but they're gonna make others for overseas.....I wonder what those will be like
kylec
when you switch to F/A, there's a "30" marking hidden underneath the selector... LOL so the tm aep shoots full auto? ewww. the selector shouldn't be able to click down at that angle anyway.
Rob15
You mean lock down into that position? on my TK USP that is the decocker....
dannyboy
Same on the KSC. Gotta love a working decocker. Random old picture of mine I found And the Mk23, because it was sex.
ghost_x3
While on the topic on debating differences between the USP's, the difference between the Japanese and Taiwain version are the trades?
AliceHKfan
its also said in the USPC the piston might be different to handle stronger gases, I don't know if this is true or not, but I wouldn't expect them to be.
kylec
I know it works as the decocker. What I meant was that it shouldn't be able to stay in that position. Sorry my post was pretty vague.
thomasw
Does the TM USP AEP really last 2,400 shots on one charge? The g18c's only last around 400.
ghost_x3
Regarding the KSC USP (Japan Version): What is the problem with the trades? I read a review here on Arnies and they said that the trademarks were "acceptable" but not exceptional when compared to the TM line of gbbs. I forgot what the problem was with the trades butI think it was because it said "Heckler & Kock" on the magazine, but thats all that I can recall. Anybody else have input? The reason I ask is because I am debating on whether to get a KSC USP, or a TM 1911 for my PMC loadout. Thanks. Edited June 10, 2007 by ghost_x3
AliceHKfan
magazine apparently said Kock not Koch (dunno if that was ever fixed) and generally KSC trades are shallow and narrow
ghost_x3
Dunno, seem's like they would be better than the TM line of gbbs to me. At least KSC doesn't have " MADE IN JAPAN TOKYO MARUI" on their gbb's? I'm sure there is some other flaw with the trademarks that I am missing?
AliceHKfan
iirc the KSC logo is hidden under the slide release
0nslaught
Finally, some pics of my gun in some sunlight. they are still bad, but they are better than the ones i took at night lol im going to make a video soon, and maybe a review of the gun, the valve, etc. Edited June 10, 2007 by 0nslaught

Rogal Dorn
My KSC USP .45 With metal slide and barrel. I've got quite big mitt's so the larger frame of the .45 fits perfect.

TerranCmdr
Very nice. Not sure if I like how all the trades are colored in though.
