Brigg
You can see in the AST videos that the m84 does not take an m9 mag, as its only 18 rounds. Though that isn't to say it couldn't take an m9 mag and have it stick out the bottom I guess. But at least the dimensions aren't all weird.
NightFury
I think the m84 won't take m9 mags. Looking at pictures of the m84 and m9 mags, they have very different feed lips. The m84 is more square and is a lot higher than the m9's. Maybe the m9 mags will click in to place but won't be able to feed the gun.
NonEx
M84s up for pre-order at ASG. 90 for black, 111 for inox. http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=51_297&products_id=20149&zenid=qk4v300dp6qvlenrmjeu3jnnm1 http://www.airsoftglobal.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=51_297&products_id=20148&zenid=qk4v300dp6qvlenrmjeu3jnnm1
BigAl
M84 is a .380 the M9 9mm mags are totally different.
hitmanNo2
Well the WE M84 says it's a .360 heh. Someone messed up there.
FireKnife
Or perhaps ammunition has suddenly become a registered trademark . I wouldn't put it past say Glock that if you got an airsoft gun that used .45GAP rounds they would be on you like vultures on a day old corpse in the desert. Also I like the rather generic box they give you, about 3 times too big for the little gun inside. 'FireKnife'
DarkLite
The M84 doesn't take m9 mags, the safety is a decocker and the gun is only single action, but will fire from half cock (ie, when you decock it, take the safety off and pull the trigger it will go bang). Nice finish, fake firing pin, veeeeery small. PPK small. Barrel threaded for thread adaptor. Gas efficiency excellent, slide very snappy because it weighs all of half a gnat's *albartroth*. Unfortunately, .360ACP trades on the barrel.
Habakure
Sounds good to me. Now to eBay, for a leather body suit.
FireKnife
the safety is a decocker and the gun is only single action, but will fire from half cock. So a proper Beretta / SIG / HK style double action / single action gun? Nice, at least they got that right. As for the size well I would expect PP size as that is what the dimensions on gun websites show which is good. Will just wait to see if and when it pops up in the UK and look at one. renegadecow
Why couldn't they just have left it blank?!?
FireKnife
Oddly enough there is a .360 Auto cartridge (or at least was at some point in time, looks to be around the time of the 10mm so 70s/80s). However I highly doubt it would fire in the M84 and WE have just been a bunch of tits and got it wrong . 'FireKnife'
Feyd
Weird, Wetti seem to be calling the Cheetah the Mini 92...
hitmanNo2
Just be thankful they're not calling it the flamingo or something along those lines.
FireKnife
The WE Flamingo? Sounds like a gay bar in Edinburgh. Think I might use this one for my WE tests though, still quite partial to the little Berettas. 'FireKnife'
blobface
Errm, sorry for necro'ing, but I don't have enough information to start a new thread, yet this has happened... so, yeah. No idea why they flipped the image because the charging handle is on the wrong side, I think it's just mirrored though.
hitmanNo2
Where did that image come from?
Azubi
It's a fake apparently. A guy in the WE users group on facebook asked WE about it and they said it was duff gen. I posted the same on LWA's thread about it and the whole thread disappeared fairly quickly so I can only assume it is a hoax. It's allegedly a picture of a TM G3 that is discontinued,
hitmanNo2
I was going to say it looked pretty ropey. Not really an image to use to promote a new product.
blobface
Oh... found it on some Hong Kong airsoft facebook page (GBB Gamer). Woops
BigAl
Yes they where, where else would they be? Or perhaps you haven't read the complete thread and don't know that that image is reversed and you have your left n right mixed up.
FireKnife
It's allegedly a picture of a TM G3 that is discontinued, Huh, didn't know TM canned the SG-1 model of the G3? Still looks like an awful promo pic so I am going with fake. Now come on Makarov, must be close by....... 'FireKnife'
Brigg
Probably just wishful thinking, considering how many were disappointed when WE Europe announced a Scar-H instead of the a G3 like most would have seemingly preferred. Probably coulda put more effort into it if they wanted it to be believable. Looks like the narfed those dumb feature icons off of AirsoftGI or something. Edit: Oh and also as a side note, I ordered a WE M84 the other day, so once I get it in a week or so Ill write up a short first impressions post. theres already a torture test video online where ~2000 rounds are put through it with no issues, so Im hoping it will be one of WE's better designed pistols. Griff762
I think a mate of mine made that fake. Might have to get a new one in circulation lol.
Pimpbot
I would love an airsoft Colt 1908 .38 (obviously, I would love to see the GBB p90 get resurrected).
DarkLite
Not to get anyone excited or anything, but I happened to chance upon a WE request for a real steel deactivated G3. So it seems their r&d are working on one, hopefully stamped steel like the MP5. I am moist. In my trousers.
