BiGSeXyFLaVoR
My WE Hi Capa seems to cycle poorly on green gas. It feels like the slide is too heavy for green now. Should I go for red gas?
Albert E.
WE Hi-Capa 5.1 painted to duotone Desert.

Blingmaster$$
what paint did you use? looks amazing
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
There's paint for metal? I thought it would scratch off easily!!! so What black paint is there to paint on my pistol?
Albert E.
Thank you. If you want a long life coating you should install a black slide and frame or use Duracoat. The tan color is a german acryl paint and the brown parts was painted with Dupli-Color Platinum chocolate brown. On the metal, the paint is not really steady. But the WEs aren't really economical so i don't play with it. It's just decoration.
CALLAHAN_88
I wonder witch maker does the best slide for Hi-Capa 5.1 of these to makers? Shooter Design or Prime! I mean witch one has the best quality on the finish and fit? Edited February 21, 2007 by CALLAHAN_88
davedawg123
I had a SD slide on my 4.3 and a Prime kit on my P226. SD and Prime slides were a drop in fit. The Prime frame on the other hand required alot of filing. I'd give the edge of fitting to SD and finish to Prime. Not sure if the same would hold true for the Prime Hi-Capa slide. olstar*
The problem with what you are after has been put in bold <{POST_SNAPBACK}> alright, i know i'm cheap, but i like the look of them.. what do you have against them apart from they not being WA and twice the price? help me out here before i buy... hitmanNo2
Heh, heh, i'm just kidding dude, get whatever takes your fancy, it's what airsoft's all about, I just have a thing about sticking stuff on rails. It certainly doesn't make it sexy IMO. I nearly bought one as I had found the original WA based ones pretty unique, but there was no way I was going to spend $1200/$1500 or whatever they were on a gun. Anyway, what put me off were reports of dodgy gas consumption, can't remember really, plus my mind and funds wandered to other things.
BigAl
They were available as kits aswell weren't they? I'm thinking of trying to track one down, should be a good IPSC Gun.
Professor Bobo
Silverfox (silverfoxairsoft.com) used to have them, but it seems to have ben excised from the intarnet. Very cool kits - they even had a 7 inch. They also had a Tiki-Stainless. I love Tikis, but it was EXTREMELY expensive, and now it's gone .
Mathub
Prime is producing both tikis, normal and hybrid. They are available in Japan. I hope they arrive in HK soon. Edited February 28, 2007 by Mathub
PenGun
That has to be the ugliest 1911 clone I've ever seen Its like a P7M10 mated with a Colt Commander and their spawn got all the ugly genes, then fell out a window and landed the ugly tree, hitting every branch, leaf and root on it Whats up with the gutter sight? hardboiledcop
is that a rail on top of the slide? if so that's freakin sweet!

hardboiledcop
No they're gutter sights. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> in that case, the ugliness definitely isnt worth it.
Professor Bobo
Its like a P7M10 mated with a Colt Commander and their spawn got all the ugly genes, then fell out a window and landed the ugly tree, hitting every branch, leaf and root on it Whats up with the gutter sight? Then it got trampled by a hoarde of uglybears! Lots of people tell me thy're ugly, but I love'm. The guttersights are supposedly for faster aquisition. 4 dots instead of 3, and it leaves the front of the gun open, as opposed to a blade sight covering the target. -edit- spelling = loose Edited February 28, 2007 by Professor Bobo
hitmanNo2
I do like the hybrid one, but it's a bit rich for me if those prices are to go by.
