amateurstuntman
This wouldn't be an issue in Stunt's Britain. The home address of every driver would be available to everyone through an online VRN search engine. I predict a sharp spike in the number of people murdered on their doorstep by angry motorists and then a permanent decline in all bad road manners. Of course cyclists would be required to have some kind of insurance and a velcro license plate on their back (cyclist, not bike).

Tw1tch
X-com thou art a cruel mistress. Spent five turns setting up my squad, ensuring they were all fully loaded and had good angles etc. Send my assaulter forward, locates a load of hostiles, rocket from my heavy takes out a bunch and then when they retaliate I lose my sniper and heavy. Habakure
Were you playing with Leeroy Jenkins? Moving house and I need to buy things, to move things in a safe manner. My idea of an airsoft fashion parade, so that it would be easier to transport said things in a safe manner, was refused due to being 'silly'. Gggrrrrrrrr.

XDDoes anyone remember the Arnie's Xcom thread? I'm sure someone made a thread a few years ago, full of story and screenshots of an original UFO: Enemy Unknown game with the soldiers named after people from the forum... It was awesome. Someone tell me I didn't make this up?

Mike_West
*Ubar* *suitcase* *fruitcage* BRUSSELS. I'm screaming internally. As if the recent donkey*fruicage*ery wasn't enough, we finally received the report from the audit performed by three completely clueless *Ubarflock* from the European Commission three years ago. Turns out that nobody caught the little detail that we *fruitcage*ed up our calculations and billed the EC for €1200 more than we were supposed to. So right now, we need to pay that money back. Except there's a little problem with that. Due to knickers-on-head retarded regulations, anything we manage to bilk from the EC goes straight to the *fruitcage* national budget. No ifs, no buts besides the one we're getting royally *fruitcage*ed in. And I doubt that with the current crop of numbnuts in the government they're gonna take the "we *fruitcage*ed up: -1200€" position in the yearly company budget in stride. Tinkerton
Split a pair of jeans right up the *albartroth* while doing repairs to The Corrodo, however the exhaust sleeve clamp is now replaced, i've taken it for a quick mile shakedown after being stood since mid-september and changing wishbones and bushes on it. Also our lettings agency/landlord is now two-fold over the 'promised timescale' for having a contractor contact us about repairs (suddenly very little water pressure/flow in a tap and difficulty locking PCVu door), and over the timescale for it actually being fixed. This coupled with waiting a month for a leaking sink to be fixed in december means I've asked for the manager to phone me back. Now taking bets as to whether or not they will. I doubt it. Oh, also suspect an exhaust leak from somewhere in the engine bay - hopefully just a dodgy gasket betwixt manifold and downpipe, but it may be the down pipe itself has rotten through. Only time will tell. also 6 weeks 'till nurburgring again. And i've got to do the rear axle bushes, cambelt and waterpump, get it through an MoT test and get the tracking/alignment sorted. Gulp. shmook
With an exhaust leak, it's sometimes possible to use fire cement and silver foil tape to get a vehicle through an MOT. Apparently...
hitmanNo2
Landlords/agents can be an utter pain. Maybe worth going to CAB to see what your options are but they've pretty much got you over a barrel.

It's sometimes possible to forget about a crisp £10 / £20 note next to the gearstick when you hand the keys over to the technician Landlords/agents can be an utter pain. Maybe worth going to CAB to see what your options are but they've pretty much got you over a barrel. Yeah. To be fair we've had no major issues with the house apart from a couple of niggly things. If it was something serious (like no hot water, heating, leccy or so) I'd be apoplectic.

If I wasn't fully occupied with Lego Technic #42043 right now I'd be playing. As it is I am watching Beaglerush play on a Twitch VOD.

Hedganian
I've still got 3 days left on my Facebook posting ban for commenting a picture of an airsoft USP on someone's request for pistols; I can still see posts, but can't comment or even click like. Just now, some spambot got into one of the groups I'm in, and posted links to porn videos. A clear violation of Facebook's so-called community standards. So I reported the posts and the profile posting them. Got a reply from Facebook's "Support Centre" - 'We reviewed the content you reported and found it does not violate our community standards.' REALLY? So perfectly legal RIFs are worthy of automatic filters and ever increasing bans without warning; but spamming porn is okay now?

With friends all over the place, it's handy for staying in touch, but the amount of drivel that gets 'shared' is astounding. *fruitcage* click bait links too. Whoever posts those wants setting on fire. Current girlfriend is one strike away from becoming an ex If you're thinking like that, the rot has already set in.
