Stunt, you must be a fan...those forward assists are -not- visible in that pic ;)

Top one is my 1st real attempt at an XM607. Forward assist. CA based.

Middle is plain jane TM CAR-15

Bottom is my latest attempt to get the details right on an XM607 slabside/slickside. G&P based.

Here's a couple links with model number details:

Newbkiller, I was serious. The bottom one will be the culmination of my quest. The other two are up for sale. The answer is still just one car-15 type in the collection.

The bottom one is sitting closer to the peg board so it was an educated guess.

I have a JG M733/TM CAR-15/G+P VN body hybrid in the basement waiting for two parts to be finished(ish).

JG base gun, CAR-15 stock, grips, moderator and delta ring adaptor, G+P body, Turbo motor wired for deans.

Should be a beast.

I was going to buy a totalsilenceinc repro stock and grip to make my SP M4 into one but his webbo has dropped off the net.

Electric will have to do.

Retro FTW.

The HW Tanaka BHP is pretty good, but you can still tell it is painted. The CZ actually has a better finish on it.

They both shoot OK, but not great. On green the BHP shoots better, but who knows if it would last on green. The CZ shoots pretty well, but doesn't have as much kick as the BHP. Both aren't the most accurate guns I have fired.
