maccrage
looks very much to me like maccrages 'wood' m16 is actually wood patterned vinyl stuck to the gun if its not, its the best piece of airsoft woodwork ive ever seen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only until I can get real pieces made. TheKurodaVagrant
Wow. Fooled me at first. At least you ARE going to get real wood stocks for it. It will be so badass, but the pistol grip will likely be a little fiddly unless you embed some sort of steel or aluminum retaining frame around it.
Abelius
And I thought all these flashlights, rails and accessories are ugly raping.
chillindrdude
my interpretation of the Mk18Mod0 some of my own critiques: 1) could use a more accurate reproduction of the KAC M4QD suppressor 2) could use an aimpoint with wilcox (but i love my eotech TOO much)

ghost_x3
Is your BUIS on backwards? EDIT: BTW, is that the Bomber Airsoft Rear Folding Folding Sight? If so, how is it? I'm looking to get one myself soon. Edited May 22, 2007 by ghost_x3

No Trace 13
They are the Bomber ones, and no i dont think my BUIS are on backwards. They are solid feeling and looking sights with Troy making to boot.

No Trace 13
I see the markings but i have not seen to many rear sights that fold forwards and have just looked at the troy website im pretty sure mine are not backwards.
BigRedDog
It's backwards. But, whatever you want I suppose. Nice looking gun none the less.
ghost_x3
I see the markings but i have not seen to many rear sights that fold forwards and have just looked at the troy website im pretty sure mine are not backwards. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah I know what you mean, my ACTION BUIS folds backwards too. TROY's is just a different design that folds forwards. Just because one BUIS folds backwards, that doesn't mean all do. That's like saying because one M4A1 AEG made by CA shoots 320 average, doesn't mean a TM will shoot 320 as well (Stock that is ) But you can have it on however you want, just giving you a heads up its on backwards. BARsrule2
Ummm I'm pretty sure they aren't backwards... if they went the other way, when folded they would NOT work with a lot of aftermarket rail systems... http://www.troyind.com/shop/images/dscn0569.jpg Edited May 22, 2007 by BARsrule2
ghost_x3
Dunno, but why the heck would they put those marks on the rear? That makes no sense to me....
The Crunchy Bunny
Do real CASV's fit G&P M4's? My friend wants to get one and put it on his weapon.
uscmCorps
Those Troy replicas look mounted fine to me. I've never seen them mounted so that they fold forwards, including looking at RS guns.
uscmCorps
Dunno, but why the heck would they put those marks on the rear? That makes no sense to me.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The markings face forwards. And that's how he has it mounted on his gun.
BARsrule2
Do real CASV's fit G&P M4's? My friend wants to get one and put it on his weapon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My buddy has fitted a real CASV to his gun, I'm not sure what receiver he has but I'm pretty sure most airsoft receivers are good to go with the CASV except for Classic Army, which require a bit of modification (the height of their top rail, and maybe the rail itself, is out of spec- well, at least more so than other manufacturers).
