Magsz
hey do you guys think it would be worth it for me to sell my G&G to get the new vfc ak-105? I really like the vfc just not sure about the stick battery. Get the VFC, they're a billion times better than the G&G offering. Also, i run both of my VFC ak's on 2000 MAH 8.4 volt batteries and im spitting out 23 rp's and 350 fps. They're as solid as they come.
samuka
I have a G&P 2200mah 8.4v stick battery with a guarder infinite motor. 400fps /good seals and tightbore/ and 2500+ shoots. In warm circumstances 3000+ shoots. So you don't have to worry about stick type.

Oh yeah, I got three more mags for only $5, they just needed a bit of work. Let's play the counting game. Edited May 17, 2008 by ComradeMP1

ComradeMP1
Well the people's most progressive airsoft forum for the most progressive yet purely defensive weapon system is where I got some ideas from. Basically if you wanna give it a try, then this is all you need: http://www.red-alliance.net/forum/index.php?topic=8774.

Vercingetorix
That tutorial is on these forums to.... Wonder where I could get pinned mags...... Because living in NJ means I can't own anything over a 10 (?) round capacity... Edited May 17, 2008 by Vercingetorix

Because living in NJ means I can't own anything over a 10 (?) round capacity... They make fake 10rd-30rd (they hold 10 rounds but look like the full size ones) round magazines for real AKs....you could get one of those and destroy it and put airsoft internals into it. Check the forums on www.calguns.net for where to buy(We have similar restrictions here in Kommiefornia) Edited May 17, 2008 by Whitedingo

Basically if you wanna give it a try, then this is all you need: http://www.red-alliance.net/forum/index.php?topic=8774.0 Wow. Cool tutorial - I wonder if you could make long mags for a 7.62 RPK by fitting the AS RPK-74 mag internals into a RS 7.62 40 round body?
ComradeMP1
not really, 7.62 mags have nice curve while 5.45 mags are less curved, they are much straighter. Yeah those 10/30 mags, a little expensive compared to the regular 30 round mags, least how I see it. I live in The People's Rebulik of Kaliforniastan too. Yeah, Calguns.net is a good place. That's where I got my mag, it was a repair kit that I dropped TM internals into. Only if I could come across some cheap bakelite mags or at least cheap steel 7.62 mags (usual price is like $26 a piece)

I wanna try putting Armashitte internals into a real PMAG, but the Peoples republik of New Jerseystan won't let me nuy real ones that are just pinned IIRC... They have to be "permanently modded" *sigh* Maybe I'll go to a PA gunshow and pick some up.....

Because living in NJ means I can't own anything over a 10 (?) round capacity... Comrade lives in CA and we can't have anything over 10 either I believe. Somewhere in his tutorial I'm pretty sure he found a way around it, by cutting the follower spring.

hendrix
I scored a Classic Army SLR-105, first ak model they made, and i have a set of MAG mags for them (plum ak74 type) and they don't seam to fit in the mag well without a LOT of force. So my question would be is there a specific area to take material off of and if so where should i and if not what else can i do to fix the problem

The 60 round mag is the Dboys 1000 round hicap, it looks like a Russian 60 round quad stack mag: http://www.kastwayairsoft.com/Products/Aan...KMAG1000RD.aspx As seen in action here
Fin
The real 60 rounders never made it past prototype phase, most of the ones you see are ones people have made with varied success
