Well heres is asomewhat more simple paint job

that i'm used to doing, but none the less sometime

the simple things are the best. My friend wanted

his G36c facelifted to a Dessert Sand colour.

It came out pretty nice I reckon, hope you like the job.

You should apply some streaks of brown or black to it, a la the KSK.

He just wanted plain sand colour, I wanted him

to let me paint something more complex like

chochip dessert but he wants it to look like the new

dessert colour G36 which have just been issued

to the spanish army

Your gun looks freaking great, but I'd love to see a RS desert G36. Any pictures or links? I have always wanted HK to make some, but I hadn't heard they actually did.

Havent got any pics at the moment of the dessert G36, I will tell

my mates if they can take some pics of the one they just got in

and i will post them in ;) one of the perks of having

6 team mates in the special operations command. I had a request

from the captain of the special forces sniper team to paint a real

steel Barrett in dessert

I don't know how many times I've painted this thing. I commenced the whole "re-finishing" project about a month ago to return my M4 back to black in order to prepare for a new camo pattern. After a month of deciding, I decided to go back to the simple "No BS" approach that could be completed in about 10-20 minutes (in which I actually completed it in that time frame). I'll be using this M4 tomorrow at a skirmish tomorrow, so I'll see how well the camo blends in, but I'm thinking it may not enough green in it.

Hey, someone on another board recently put up a guide from red-alliance.net on how to realisticly paint your AK furniture. Heres the guide for those that would like to read it: http://www.red-alliance.net/articles/custo.../furniture.html. I decided to give it a try with my UTG AK. I'm not finished yet, but here are some pics of it after the 2nd coat. You can really see it starting to get much darker and some of the distressing. I plan on doing one more coat with a little more distressing, then I will apply the 50/50 varnish to give it the finished look. Will post up more pics as I finish.
